 + -1 moreJunction told me about their pricing on the phone: $65 to come out and $50 for the second and each additional hour. No additional cost for the fact that it was an emergency call. The repairman found that the problem was a faulty pressure switch. He explained that the switch was an optional component that shuts the system down in case of certain problems. He suggested simply removing the switch from the circuit as it wasn't vital for operation so long as we weren't constantly resetting the thermostat. I appreciated the honesty. If he had told me the entire system needed replacing, I wouldn't have known any better. One of the better experiences I've had with a contractor since moving to the Pittsburgh area.
Description of Work: The condensing unit on my A/C system started making a horrible grinding sound. This was a few days before the 4th of July when it was miserably hot. We were having a party on the 4th and needed the problem diagnosed and fixed quickly. I called two other places but they weren't available for a few weeks. Then I called Junction and they sent somebody out within a couple hours to check the system.
