Weâ ve been very pleased with our experience with window replacements done by Power Home Remodeling. A month ago, we met with a Power salesman who inventoried the windows in our house and gave us an estimate of the cost of replacing all the windows. The cost was considerably more than we were prepared to spend, especially since our existing windows (wood frames, 18-year-old house) seemed to be mostly adequate for now. Initially, we made it very clear that we were not prepared to purchase any sort of replacement windows and were interested only in getting a cost estimate for future planning purposes. As the presentation wore on (and on and on â total of more than 4 hours, though this also included questions on our part and reading and signing documents), we became impressed with the quality of the Power window (durable vinyl frame, no painting, easier to open and clean, better energy efficiency, etc.) and the pricing options that were available if we made a purchase that day. We normally steer clear of such pricing deals, but this one included a lock-in of favorable pricing for at least 5 years. Since we were planning to replace a number of windows in that time frame anyway, that proved to be an important feature of their terms. We signed on for the minimum number of windows they would sell us (4 large double-hung windows for the ground floor front). Within a day or two, Power sent a pre-installation inspector to confirm the salesmanâ s window measurements and explain the installation process, then scheduled an installation date. The installation was done one week after we signed the agreement. The installers were on time and very efficient in removing the old windows and installing the new ones. The installers did a good job with sealing the windows, and they left the house clean and tidy. During the process, we noticed that there were some scuff marks on the frames of two of the full-window screens (fairly minor and only visible close up). Power insisted on replacing them despite these small defects, and that is scheduled to happen soon. With that small exception, the windows were in perfect shape. A quality control inspector came three days later to verify that the work met their standards. Power did an excellent job of communicating the status of our project and confirming appointments. Weâ ve seen a number of pretty bad complaints about them on the Better Business Bureau web site and just as many strongly positive ones on the Consumer Affairs site. All we can add is that our experience has been nothing but good and we would recommend them highly to anyone considering window replacement. Keep in mind that you donâ t have to make the huge investment of replacing all your windows; Power is happy to do as few as 4 windows without obligating you to do anything else at a later time. Weâ ve already decided to replace the other 5 windows on the front of our house. When weâ re ready to do more, we plan to call Power.

Way too much money for just needing a roof when others were a lot less expensive, the presentation was good but a big waste of time for waiting for a price 2 hours later at $30,000 price tag I am a regular Joe not a Smoe!

I had some issues with the installation, and the Customer Service people worked with me to resolve the issue

The workers did an excellent job.but they could not speak English and there was no supervisor on hand they had to call someone when I had a question three phone calls were needed. When they finished we could not do a walk around it was dark out.the workers cleaned up everything.

The entire process from initial contact, quote, actual work, and quality follow up was courteous and professional. Project was completed on time, as specified. A quality person arrives the following day for a walk around and satisfaction survey. We actually noticed a small defect and they corrected it on the spot. Be forewarned though, they do a hard sell on additional work at this point (after the survey), but they are courteous. All in all, I would recommend them and use them again. They are on the higher end of the cost spectrum, but you get what you pay for.

We bought our house 6 months ago, and we knew there were projects, the biggest of which was a new roof. A former owner had replace the roof about 20 years ago, and it was looking pretty bad, so we shopped around and solicited estimates from 4 companies. Power HRG offered the second most expensive overall estimate, but by far the most detailed proposal and the best warranty. They walked us through the process step by step, and we knew that several people in our neighborhood had hired them for multiple projects. There was an element of sticker shock, but for the piece of mind of knowing this won’t be something we’ll have to pay for again in 20 or 30 years, it was worth it. They kept in touch with us from the sales call until after the job was complete, they didn’t ask for money down, the crew was fast and clean, and the roof is now in amazing shape. Our neighbors even commented on how well the crew cleaned up. Even when I thought I spotted an issue after the work was done, Power was happy to send someone out to inspect and clearly explain how and why things were done. We are already planning our next project with Power, because we have been so pleased with everything they’ve done on this job.

Workers came on time. Worked throughout the day. Consultants very knowledgeable and friendly,gave no pressure to sign up. Very pleased with the the process and the completed work. Would hire again.

on time qualty work

everything was organized and explained clearly during the initial meeting including pricing options and step by step process of how things would be done. other than initial scheduling issues due to mechanical problems with the crew's truck that ended up delaying (also due to bad weather) the installation by two weeks, i had no issues with the workers for both projects i had done. am also going to use them for a third project as well. they kept tabs regularly from their office while the project was being worked on. rob, scott and john were all friendly and helpful during my meetings with them and made sure to answer any questions i had and walked me through the process.

They were on time with their schedule. Each operation was completed before the next one began. Supervisors on site foe quality control.

They are professional and went to town stripping the whole roof off, put on a new roof , put on goretech and shingled or tiled it and we are so happy , they were done by 4pm that afternoon , we have the best looking roof on the block . Thankyou for your recommendation and in a couple years from now will look to get the floor pulled up and done over , we have a wavey floor . Awesome people we worked with .
