Daryl was professional, patient and courteous. He also something of a detective as he tried to figure out the peculiar electrical problem we were having. We were both very impressed and would definitely hire him again.

hired DC Electrics to rewire my 3 storey townhouse, which was built in 1896 and had the old knob and tube wiring. I had lots of estimates from other companies and they all said the scope of damage would require me replacing my plaster walls and ceilings with sheetrock. Daryl is extremely knowledgeable about his craft, he was creative and knew instantly how it could be done without making too many holes in the ceiling or disturbing any of the crown molding. I was able to stay in the house for the duration too. Darylâ s crew were all professional, turned up on time and worked full days before cleaning up. He pulled permits and inspection was a breeze. He also advised me on some creative ways to light my house that I hadn't thought of and now I have lights in my garden. It was an extensive job which Daryl handled phenomenally. High quality work for a good fair price. I recently had to move an electrical panel to reconfigure a new bathroom. Again, DC Electrics to the rescue!

Daryl exceeded expectations! He has a rare trait for someone in this business...he does what he says he is going to do and he shows up when he say he will. Not only that but he does good quality work and goes th extra mile to make things easier for his clients. He completed the job on time and on budget. He made sure all paperwork, permits etc was handled in a timely manner. He's also a really nice guy!

Used Daryl Carter Electrical Services for the installation of an electrical panel. Initially the service was fantastic, however, fast forward a month and a half and it was brought to my attention the electrical work was not done correctly. As a result of the electrical work not being completely correctly, I had to absorb additional cost to have the electrical work repaired, and was advised this could have potentially been a dangerous situation. When I advised Daryl Carter Electrical Services of a potential issue, they were non-responsive.

I had new outside service and a new panel installed in my row home. Mr. Carter was very knowledgeable about old row house wiring. He arrived at the time he stated, took down the old (50+ years) wiring coming into the house from the street, replaced my old breaker (panel) box and labeled the switches (which switch turned the electric on and off in each room). He and his assistant were very pleasant, worked very efficiently, explained the work being done and answered the many questions I had regarding old row homes and electrical wiring. We did a walk through to discuss future electrical projects. He impressed neighbor who pretty much hired him on the spot. I will be referring him to my friends.

I m doing a follow up review to my follow up review. It takes a real man to admit when he s wrong and that is exactly what Daryl did. It s unfortunate that I found it necessary to write a negative review in the first place BUT Daryl made it right!!! And at the end that s ALL THAT MATTERS. I m not in the business of taking the food out of anyone s mouth so to be clear.... Daryl made some mistakes but he never argued with me about any of it and made amends where needed so now it s nothing but positive! So go ahead and hire Daryl.... as you probably already know it s harder to find a contractor that you can TRUST then it is to find a contractor!

I am so glad we found DC electric. Not only were they fast, and efficient, they were incredibly affordable. We had another electrician price out the same work and quoted us almost six times the price. We have more projects coming up and we're definitely going to giving DC Electric a call!

Daryl was just AWESOME!!!!! A wonderful, personable business person who answers his phone and is quick to schedule. The work was done in a very short amount of time. He installed a ceiling light and a fan/light fixture, both quickly and efficiently. Extremely respectful of us and our time. He will most definitely be the person we call on again for electrical needs. So refreshing in this day and age when your calls for a service person go to voice mail and you never get a reply. He is on time when an appointment is set and very polite. He does not make you wait when you leave a message.

I cant write enough about how pleased I am with his work. He was very professional. He discussed every aspect of the work that I requested to be completed and even discussed some things that I might need to address in the future. He was not pushy about anything. I ended up getting all of the work done right away. His prices were very reasonable and the work was done quickly. I highly recommend Mr. Carter.
