+ -1 moreI can't really rate on quality because we haven't had a heavy rain or snow however from what I could see which was a new white alum downspout , it looked great to me. Very happy with the price one company wanted to charge me $5,000! Everything was convenient I didn't have to be home when he did the estimate or did the job . When work was done he mailed the invoice to me and I mailed payment back to company . I would use them and again in the future.

+ -1 moreAA West was low bidder, but provided excellent service. Removed three layers of old roof, which was more difficult that expected. Put in new copper pans and flashing, repaired damaged wood in entrance way, installed new cedar siding on family room entrance, installed new 50 year shingle roof and gutters. Amazingly responsive to phone calls. Delivered everything in contract at agreed price plus several extras which were very fairly priced. Daily clean up was immaculate. Communicated well about plans. No surprises.
Description of Work: Removed 3 layers of old roof, installed new copper flashing, new roof and new gutters. Also did some residing and damaged wood repair.

+ -1 moreThey were honest about what needed to be done. Rather than trying to replace my entire roof they only fixed what was necessary. They were very nice and the quality of the work was great. They got the work done in a short amount of time. I would definitely use them again.

Description of Work: We had a leak in the roof (near the down spout). I originally called a couple of other companies on Angie's List, but they were very busy (probably because of the positive reviews on Angie's List) and could not come out when I needed them. My wife who works in a bank, talked to a customer who recommended AA West Co. I called them and they were out early in the morning the next day. They cleaned the room and the down spouts, and said we needed not only the patchitg, but also a new down spout (the old spout had an opening in the back) and a new box on the top. They said they would be back later in the week, and they came back in 3 days, coming early in the morning, and finishing within an hour. It hasn't rained yet, but I was very pleased by this companies service and responsiveness. Also, the price seemed reasonable, and they didn't try to sell us on a whole new roof. I would definitely used this company again (eventually we'll need a new roof) and would recommend the company to others. 0

Description of Work: A gentleman came out and soon after sent an estimate, which was not the cheapest, but one the more reasonable ones of several I had received. I was hesitant about the color, so I called and they brought out several samples of colors I had narrowed the list down to. I accepted the proposal and a few days later they showed up to repair and shingle my porch roof and put a second layer of shingles on my entire house. They worked very efficiently and broom swept clean the perimeter of my home and tidied up the landscaping after they had finished. All in all it was a very good experience for a reasonable price. It has been a few months since the roof was put on.... I have, and I will continue, to refer this company to anyone needing the services of a roofing company. I am a very satisfied customer.

+ -1 moreI have 3 houses and my roofs are done by them. The gentleman is very nice. He has been working with my family for years and has just completed a roof. We have 3 houses and they have worked on all the 3 roofs. My family has used them for years. So whenever there is roofing to be done we do it. If we have a leak or whatever, they are there within a few hours. The service is good and the gentleman is pleasant. I don't remember his name. The price is reasonable. They are the only ones we use for roofs. They are neat. They clean up after themselves. I haven't had any problems with them at all.
Description of Work: My roofs are done by AA West and Company. They completed a roof for me 3 weeks ago. They had to do some major repairs on my roof and then put the rubber roofing on it. It's a flat roof.

+ -1 moreThis is an exceptionally honest, reliable, and good firm. They came recommended; they responded quickly and politely to my call; they gave a reasonable estimate; they performed the work during the two-day window promised; they've stood behind it.
Description of Work: Replaced flat roof over family room. They could have urged more work, but they did only what was required. Indeed, when a gutter contractor damaged part of their work a year later---wholly the fault of the gutter installation---the roofer came out and fixed it for free.

+ -1 moreThe job went very well. Since it was a smaller job they had to fit it in when they could but did an excellent job in addressing the leaks around the chimney. It was the co-owner of the company, John, who did the work and I thought it was very well done.
Description of Work: They reflashed my chimney replacing any rotten wood in the process and installing new copper step flashing and a new copper skirt around the base of the chimney. They also matched the shingles and used all new shingles in the process.

+ -1 moreThe owners were very responsive. The one thing I didn't like is that they came and started the job and then left and had to come back to finish. Their summer help did some damage to the side of the house when they threw the roofing material off the house. The roof is good quality and they were very fast to come repair the problems. The price was very reasonable.
