We found The Home Improvement Coach from an article in the Daily Local and thought that this would be the perfect solution to our limited knowledge of home improvements. We were good at destruction but not so much on putting things back together. We contacted Chip Stewart to take a look at our project and he arrived on time and gave us good suggestions and he showed us how to replace the plumbing fixtures and we learned a few skills along the way. He showed us how to shore up our shower walls and hang hardie backer. We leaned to use a jig saw for the flooring, that is my new favorite tool. He made the project fun and took the mystery out of home improvements. He showed the correct and safe way to do things. On different stages of our project we called Chip to help us, there were things that we were able to do ourselves but the tough stuff he was there with the knowledge and the tools to complete the job. Our project took over a year to complete but we were working on our own time frame.If we did not hire Chip to help us along the way the project would never gotten finished or worse yet we would have just hired it out and we wouldn't have gotten the quality of the work or the materials that we wanted. The original project was just to replace the shower, but when we started working with Chip we realized that we could have a beautiful finished bathroom if we had some help. He was very helpful and informative about which materials that in his experience were the most durable, he steered us clear of materials that would not last in the long run. The beautiful project came together complete with granite counter top and sink combination, cherry vanity, spanish wall tiles and glass accents in the shower. The project turned out better than we could have hoped for. We have a few other projects planned in the near future and will be contacting Chip again. We would highly recommend the Chip Stewart to anyone who is planning a home improvement project.

When I hired The Home Improvement Coach to renovate my rental property, I had no idea just how large the project actually was. I cannot even begin to count the number of times I was thankful I had hired The Home Improvement Coach. The size and diversity of the project showed me that The Home Improvement Coach was not only talented in all aspects of Home Improvement, but he was also very good at managing the project which was quite large, and he always looked for ways to stay within the budget. The management included scheduling and working with other contractors that had been hired for specific tasks (example: Plasterer, Painter, etc). All of the contractors were impressed with The Home Improvement Coach's knowledge and enjoyed working with him. As advertised, I found The Home Improvement Coach to be a very willing, and a very good teacher. Learning from, and working with the coach was not only informative and fun, but it afforded me some huge savings. Another aspect of The Home Improvement Coach I found extremely useful was his ability to "think outside the box". The rental being an older property, many times called for some creative thinking with regards to solutions for problems. No matter what the problem was, The Home Improvement Coach always figured out a solution. It was my absolute pleasure to work with The Home Improvement Coach. He always showed up on time, ready and eager to work. His attention to detail and strive for perfection made him the perfect choice. He made what could have been a very grueling difficult project enjoyable. I would highly recommend The Home Improvement Coach to anyone with a project large or small. I will definitely hire The Home Improvement Coach for all future Home Improvement projects!!
