Description of Work: Southdown Homes builds newly constructed homes in Chester County.

Description of Work: We built a new home in Fox Hollow Farms, one of the new neighborhoods being constructed by Southdown Homes. We have been thrilled with our house. The materials that were standard in our home (Hardie Plank and stone siding, hardwood floors, granite counters) seem to be upgrades in other nearby neighborhoods at a similar price point. The realtor, builder, subcontractors and design team were great about answering all of our questions and bringing our house in on budget and on time. As I understand, this builder has never missed a closing deadline or had to push a closing because something wasn't ready. When we signed our initial agreement of sale in May, we were told we would settle mid to late December. We settled on December 12th, right on time. | |This builder also does more custom design than others we investigated (Toll Brothers) and no request was met with "you're not allowed to do that." As a result, every house in our neighborhood is different and reflects the different style of the owners. | |We anticipated (and had been told by many) that the the process of building new would be challenging, but we were pleasantly surprised by how easy the process was from the time we signed the agreement of sale to the day we settled. Andy, Bob, Heather and Cindy were absolutely the best team to work with. I am pleased to recommend this builder to anyone looking to build a new home.
