We'd had at least two other plumbers out in the last few years to take a look at our utility sink. They would clear it and it would work for a while, then get slower and slower until it stopped entirely. We had Doug Heath out to take a look, and he replaced some of the old cast iron pipe with new PVC, and put in a clean out. He worked fast, was very knowledgable, and prices were comparable to previous plumbers. We're having him quote a furnace replacement as well.

I hired him to run an electrical line to the steps leading to a walkway. I thought his price was very expensive. I checked with an actual electrician and his price was $100 less than Doug's. I had him install a second banister along my stairs to help my wife get up and down the stairs. It was badly placed. When he was putting it in he knocked out some plaster and never fixed it. Now when anyone pulls on the middle of the banister more plaster keeps coming out. I had him put in a toilet for me. The price seemed a bit high, but it seems to be working fine.
