The guys were professional and prompt. They let us know when they would be here or not due to weather. They explained any issues. Excellent work! I would not hesitate to use them again!

This has to be one of the most professional organizations around. They did tree base injections for pests and the aborists who cut the trees were polite, professional and darn good t what they do. No tree topping - awesome!!!!! And cleaned up after as well!!!

The crew arrived on time and they were prepared to go to work. The work was done with care and professionalism. Three large trees had to be removed from an area with electrical wires and they did so without hesitation. Other tree services wanted to charge twice as much based on the 'difficulty' of the removal. I recommend these people to anyone who needs to have trees thinned, trimmed or removed.

Exemplary! Worth every penny! George responded immediately to my message left through the Angie's list message service. He was the only one out of several I sent seeking estimates for tree servicing. That is a huge plus. He gave advice and listened to the concerns my wife and I had. On the day of the service he arrived promptly and gave the crew their instructions. We had a problematic tree on the property boundary with a neighbor. Cody and Skip where allowed on the neighbor's property to perform the service. They did so quickly and cleaned up the debris, leaving the neighbor's property better than it had looked prior to the job. The job they performed around the house was incredible. These two young men have a work ethic that I believed was a thing of the past. They scaled great heights and dropped the limbs where they intended. They asked for guidance when they were unsure of what we wanted. The clean up was thorough and without issue. I intend to have CVTS come back to perform some landscaping and in the near future resume the clearing of problematic trees. I am very happy I went to Angie's list for finding this service.

They were great and fast. They are professional architects. They are a little expensive. They were clean in the way they worked. I have been using them for years. They do not do gardens. I will continue to use them.

Ontime, fast and good clean up off debris!

They arrived ontime and explained all work that was to be complete. Due to the height of the tree and location to the house, they decided to bring in a crane to lower each limb to the ground. This made sure that the yard was not damaged from dropping limbs. I was amazed at hiw efficient they were to completing the work. They cleaned up all the mess and left nothing behind. They even sweeped the yard to make sure no bark or leaves were left behind. Included in the price was grinding the stump down far enough that we could plant another tree in the same location. The whole team were professionals. I received quotes from 2 other tree services and they were well below the others. I was nervous that due to the low price that I was going to have to clean up after and was willing to do that to save cost, but that was not the case. They did everything perfectly. I would never recommend anyone else. Great job to the CVT team.

Workers arrived with 2 trucks and proceeded to clear the area, cut the edging, move the flagstones in walkway, and prepare the area for herbicide spraying and putting down the mulch. They made sure the mulch was incorporated into adjacent garden areas and replaced the flagstones. They left the yard looking professionally landscaped and clean.

The crew was very courteous and considerate, asking if they could back their truck into the driveway near the tree. They gently moved a lawn statue in case it was in the way. All limbs, branches, and other debris were completely raked up and deposited either in the chipper or their trash can. The trees look professionally trimmed and treated. The outcome was definitely worth the price.

Good experience form beginning to end.

Fred provided lots of information that allowed us to make a informed decision. CVTS allowed us to select services to work within our budget. After accepting, their proposal we were scheduled for about three weeks out but ended up coming a week early. The crew arrived early and we went around and reviewed the work to be done. The crew was respectful of my property as well as the neighbors. The whole crew was courteous and quickly got the job done.

It went great. The other people I got estimates from were a much lower rate but weren't going to do nearly as much. There was a two-man team in the front oak tree from almost all day. They limbed it up like I asked and thinned out the dead wood from the entire top of the tree. They thinned the whole thing out and did exactly what I wanted.

The owner comes first to talk with you about what you want done and expect. Gives a free estimate. The crew comes in and does it in a professional manner with introductions (certified arborists), and leave your yard the same way they found it.

Working with CVTS is a pleasure. We called several years ago to consult about some trees we were concerned about and were so impressed with their expertise, punctuality and professionalism that we've used their services ever since. They have given us quick turnaround on estimates and have shown up when they were scheduled to. As a result, we've been able to keep a line of pine trees and two wonderful white birches which would otherwise have been long gone, and the other trees they treat have been much healthier as well. You do get what you pay for with CVTS.

Recently we contacted the Carlisle office of this company to inquire about getting some trees trimmed, having dead branches cut, and having a pile of old limbs/sticks removed. The estimator came the next day and provided a detailed estimate that same day via email. The price was very reasonable and we accepted the contract. The following week they called us the evening before the work was to be done and estimated they would arrive in the late morning. They showed up the next day at the scheduled time, completed everything we requested, and cleaned up the yard afterwards. This whole process was completed in a very professional manner. We would highly recommend this company.

We received an estimate very promptly and the service was performed quite soon thereafter. The crew and foreman (Dave Poe) arrived with heavy equipment, but because it was raining, making the ground around the tree (our back yard) soft, they used only chainsaws and climbing gear, topping the tree by hand. Everything was done with care and consideration for the property. As we had requested, the branches were reduced to chips and removed and the trunks were sectioned for future firewood. The entire area was then raked and tidied and they left it looking better than when they arrived! Absolutely excellent service from start to finish.

The company's Carlisle area estimator, Fred, was extremely professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He arrived promptly, did a detailed inspection of the trees, made recommendations for each tree and patiently answered all of my questions. He provided a detailed written proposal within three days of his inspection that described the work to be done and the cost for each tree. He included a contract with complete terms for my reference. The cost estimate was very competitive with the other tree/landscape companies I contacted. The work was done within two weeks of the inspection. The crew arrived on time and satisfactorily completed the work quickly They completely removed all debris and left the yard/grass around the work areas in good shape. The results to the trees were aesthetically pleasing. I have used Cumberland Valley Tree Service twice before to remove damaged limbs and branches, prune trees and install support cables into trees. Their work has always been excellent and their prices competitive. I will use them again if I need their services and would recommend them to any homeowner for the types of work I have described.
