We contacted him on a Friday when we found out there was a problem. He came on Saturday morning and within approximately 30-45 minutes, was able to say yes that was a leak, remove the old pipe piece and replace with a new one.

Excellent work! Mr. Stine responded quickly for my service request. The work was carefully completed and tested. Mr. Stine has creative and cost effective solutions for problematic situations.

prior to closing. Mr. Stine arrived within 30 minutes of the initial phone call. He inspected all of the plumbing in the entire home and determined there was no permanent damage. His assessment of the overflow problem was due to ice building up in the PVC drain pipe due to the thermostat being turned off. As mentioned earlier, this was during the first Artic Vortex of 2014 with outside temperatures hovering around 0-5 degrees (and sometimes below zero). We contracted Mr. Stine to return the following morning to replace the automatic washer hoses with "leak-proof" hoses and to install hot and cold water shut-off valves in the basement in the lines leading to a sink located in our garage. These two lines were also frozen due to the extreme cold temperatures. Mr. Stine was prompt on both visits and completed the work to our satisfaction. We would consider using Mr. Stine again for our plumbing work if the need arises.

He came to our house to provide an estimate; he was shown the shower fixture we wanted replaced, but we had not bought any new hardware yet. He began telling us how we need to be sure we buy the correct fixtures, as those items purchased from self-help stores, like Lowe's and Home Depot were poor quality, and he said he refused to install them. He recommended the expensive brands and tried to get us to buy from a local plumber's supply house that he frequents. He then began telling us about various customer's he's worked for, and how lazy some of them were, and that their homes were pig-sties. He continued chatting away for over 1 hour, never again discussing the job we were asking him to perform. After he left, we did stop by the supply house he recommended, but nothing was within our price range. We did end up purchasing a nice fixture from the local Lowe's, and called him to make an appointment to do the installation. At first, he had no idea who I was or that he had ever been to our home; after some prompting he finally recalled that he had stopped by a week earlier. He said he would then get back with me to schedule the install, however, after three weeks he never called back. I'll let you be the judge, but needless to say, I'm not calling him back.

After discovering water on the basement floor, we investigated by cutting a hole in the basement wall to find the original copper septic drain pipe had deteriorated over a 50 year period and was full of pin holes. After a telephone consultation, Buck came out and assessed the situation to see what parts he would need. The next day he gathered up the parts and was at our house by 8:00 and ready to start. He removed the old pipe and replaced with new plastic PVC pipe.; He not only replaced the damaged pipe but the associated elbows, Tees and fittings, to ensure there would not be a future problems. He introduced himself, stated his background and qualifications for the job and explained exactly what needed to be done. Very professional. He checked out our boiler while he was there and made some recommendations, but did not try to push any additional services on us. He did not bring a helper, but let us help with the grunt work to keep the labor cost down. I would use him again.

Excellent job. He replaced the plumbing and changed the oroiginal pea traps so that both the sinks drained well AND quickly. They had NEVER drained quickly and always had issues with small annoying leaks that someone had previously attempted to fix with tape. He also went as far as to pointing out what exactly was wrong and never gave us any pressure to add on other services for extra cash. We will definitely be using him again - even if he is a busy man! We need more plumbing and heating people like him......

Mr. Stine's work was exceptional. His careful attention to detail was wonderful. In sum, he is a perfectionist.
