I hired H&D Custom Painting to strip, repair and paint the exterior trim, doors and carport as I readied my home for sale. I was impressed with the care and meticulous attention to detail that Hakim and Donna brought to the project. This was not a "slap a coat of paint on and call it a day" operation. H&D stayed within their estimate, completed the work within the deadline requested while managing work on days when weather permitted. They provided excellent results. H&D understood that mine was a historic property and treated the home and project with extreme care. They also focused on little details that most would have ignored or disregarded - as examples, they painted and refreshed the locksets on the exterior doors and touched up other door hardware without being asked. Overall, H&D provided an exceptional customer experience. I have hired them again for another project at a different property.

We hired H&D Custom Painting because our 1750 house requires careful attention and skill. Old plaster required restoration and difficult spaces call for creative problem solving. We enjoyed a collaborative working relationship! The work is solid and will last because of careful surface preparation and meticulous finish. Highly recommended.

The BEST interior painter and wallpaper team in my 64 years of life. Hakim is an artist and he and Donna removed the old paper, prepped and painted the walls beautifully. Then the real art work begins when Hakim measures and hangs the new paper (s). Wallpapering is a lost art but Hakim is a perfectionist!!!! We had very complex wallpapers and you cannot see where the seams are! Hakim and Donna are so professional and a lovely couple to invite in to do their painting and wallpapering magic! Not 5 Stars but 10 stars! We are already planning when to have them back!

Hakim did an REALLY good job. He text to let me know his exact ETA and was very friendly. He put wallpaper up on an 8' x 8' wall, it's quite a busy pattern that he lined up absolutely perfectly. I then tried to be arty and put the same wallpaper on 2 small glass cabinet doors. It took me about 3 hours with many mistakes and maybe some crying. I should have asked Hakim to do it. Anyway, he's great! Definitely recommend him.

Hakim responded quickly and professionally to my request for a quote. He came out to look at the scope of the job and sent me a detailed quote via email and text the next day. Once I confirmed with him we scheduled a start date. Hakim finished the job in two days (right on schedule) and worked cleanly, leaving my house in great condition. The work was outstanding for a reasonable price! I would definitely hire him again and most likely will.

They did an excellent job with removing the wallpaper and painting the rooms once the wallpaper was removed. Wonderful to work with. I would highly recommend this company and would hire them again for future projects.
