We contacted George Allen from Angie's list because they had good references. We never heard back after two weeks of the initial call and contacted them again two weeks later. They apologized and sent someone out within two days, looked over our septic issue and said they would get back with us shortly. Never heard back from anyone and it has been another two weeks. Needless to say. we were extremely disappointed in the response time and have since called out another septic company also listed on Angie's list that we were very happy with.

We had to pump out our septic tank before it was filled with gravel and sand so that it can be permanently sealed off. We had to reschedule multiple times, and George Allen Wastewater Mgmt was very flexible and accommodating. They were able to fully pump the tank as needed and I would recommend them to anyone else who may need septic service.

Great job. Customer service worked with me to find out the source of our septic problem. Replaced a pump that was struggling with a heavy duty Gould's 1/2 HP cast casing pump. Beautiful, neat, professional installation to replace a pump installed by Bucks Mont Environmental plastic casing pump only 3 years old. Old installation was poorly wired (ground wire left hanging out) and poorly installed (pipe too long, but instead of cutting, installers just tilted the pump on its side off the base in the tank- I was horrified to see such shoddy work). George I Allen fixed us up quickly for a very fair price.

I am demolishing an old building and build a new house using the old Septic System. The septic system was not maintained for a very long time and the plumber started to work and wanted to have the Septic System in good order. I called George Allen and had the maintenance done the next morning. The driver and quot;Pauland quot; was punctual very friendly and very motivated. He said this tank was not maintained for a long time. He cleaned it and even made a proposal to the builder how to improve the overall system. I was really impressed with his professionalism. I cannot imagine that this work could be done better. Kudos to Paul from George Allen!

They were very easy to schedule. Everybody that I've had here has been very polite, friendly and helpful. They are a very nice company to work with. The price was very good.

Wonderful service. Prompt! Initially thought it was an internal plumbing problem, plumber came at 3 and by 4 had figured out it was a septic issue. Called them at 4 pm on a Friday afternoon and was desperate... couldn't flush or let any water down the drain. It was backing up into the basement pipe. The receptionist who answered the phone was polite and understanding. They arrived within 45 minutes of my call and the driver/operator was professional, courteous and attentive. He stayed until everything was operating, even had us flush and run water in the house to make sure it was draining properly. Took the time to show my husband the problem and explained the system and offered some preventative suggestions. Thorough and careful. The weather was bitter cold and eight inches of snow on the ground but he didn't complain. Would highly recommend them.

Our realtor chose George Allen to inspect the septic tank of a home we wanted to purchase. The inspection cost about 250.00, which we felt was reasonable. The inspection turned up a few things that were supposedly wrong with the tank, and they provided another estimate on what it would cost to fix it. Two subsequent inspections turned out that there was nothing wrong with the tank at all. Because George Allen was recommended so highly, we chose to ask them for an estimate on what it might cost to cover the old cistern on the property. I called twice and spoke to Steve both times. The first time he told me to wait until the closing, which I did. After the closing, I called again and he said he would get in touch that week. Never did. I left two messages after that, asking for him to come out and do an estimate, and my calls were ignored. It's now been three weeks, and silence speaks volumes. Needless to say, we went another route with covering the cistern. We were disappointed with the lack of communication. I wish we could recommend this company, as they seemed to do a thorough inspection, but the lack of communication and the subsequent inspections that found no problem make me wary.

As a home owner and full-time job-holder, I need to work with companies that are easy to schedule and flexible. These guys are great! Tank cleaned... done!

They came out to evaluate what turned out to be a sewage leak in our yard. We had just purchased the house-it is 300 years old-and another plumber had suggested that he thought he had found an old cesspool and that we were not hooked up to public sewer as we had been told. The George Allen guys came out and working with our township, figured out that a makeshift cesspool had been installed by a previous owner where the sewage line that should have been tying into the public sewer had broken. We were under pressure from the township to resolve the issue and the George Allen crew rearranged their schedules twice to be able to get out to us to work with the township and again to make the repair to the sewer line once the problem had been diagnosed. My only complaint was that they left the ground where they had been digging piled up pretty high and they left a portion or two of the broken iron pipe laying in our yard. I told them not to worry about doing a big clean up because we intended to leave that space a meadow but I thought that they should have definitely have removed the piping and that they should have smoothed the ground out more than they did. Their fair pricing and willingness to work their schedules around ours more than made up for those complaints, though.

We initially contacted 3 highly rated contractors from Angie's List. George Allen was the first to actually return our call. We were under a time pressure due to an impending sale, so we went ahead and hired them to do the initial analysis. The testing was done as timely as the weather permitted. We did not hire them to do the actual work because of timing issues (they were unavailable to start the work for a couple of months.) At least they were up front about their lack of availability so that we did not waste our time pursuing a quote from them. We probably would have considered them for the whole job had they been available.

The serivce men who came to the house (several trips involved until the problem was resolved) were prompt and professional. Every aspect of explaining the problem to us and how the company planned to repair the problem was explained in great detail. The tree roots were removed and the tank was cleaned and treated to prevent future problems. Suggestions were made as to what else could be done in the future to prevent the problem from happening again. The company answered our service calls promptly and were able to schedule a quick appointment to come out to the house, even with all of the bad weather, rain and flooding conditions in the neighborhood. We feel very confident in this company's services and know that if we ever have a problem in the future, it will be taken care of in a very efficient and professional manner.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. The manager, Steve, made appointments and always followed up with phone calls as promised. The men who came to my home to do work obviously reported thoroughly because Steve always had ALL the information he needed. Everyone i dealt with was extremely professional and skilled. If they said they would arrive "around 8:30-9am", they would be at my door at 8:34am. They are a septic company but were happy to do any plumbing/toilet install work that i requested. The workmen even cleaned up after themselves, closed doors behind them, etc. They charged me as little as possible for each visit because they are committed to earning my repeat business. I only wish i had local friends with septic tanks or plumbing issues so i could recommend this company to everyone.

After receiving several quotes for the work described above, I contacted George Allen and Sons, Inc. based upon their reviews. The price I was quoted over the phone was nearly a $1000.00 less than other quotes I had received. Stephen from their company informed me that they were not looking to profit from one time work. Instead, they would like me as a customer for life. After receiving a written quote (to get around my disbelief), I called them and scheduled a time. The price was within $50.00 of their estimate (which was given site unseen). The work was great and so far I have not had any problems.

GREAT COMMUNICATION. WE HAVE OLD SYSTEMS SO THEY ARE ALWAYS GIVING US INFORMATION TO BETTER HELP US. WE HAVE ALSO USED THEM TO RENT PORTAPOTTYS FOR PARTIES AND HAVE ALWAYS DELIVERED ON TIME AND P/U ON TIME. GREAT SERVICE. LAST MINUTE REQUESTS ARE ALWAYS HONORED.

GEORGE ALLEN WASTEWATER MANAGEMENT IS A WELL ESTABLISHED COMPANY WITH GOOD VALUES. THIS BUSINESS IS A TOUGH ONE BECAUSE IT IS VERY NECESSARY AND NOT REGULATED. THEY ARE A COMPANY THAT YOU CAN TRUST TO DO THE WORK THE PROPER WAY. WE SWITCHED FROM ANOTHER COMPANY AND I AM SORRY THAT WE DID NOT SWITCH SOONER. THEY ARE WORTH DOING BUSINESS WITH.
