Very well ... the different teams of tree service folks were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.

The price to grind the stumps was okay, but the price to remove the grind trash was severely over-priced. The cost for trash removal was more than the grind itself.

We used Clauser to treat our ash tree to prevent emerald ash borer. They were very knowledgable and we used them for treatment again the following year.

I had a great experience with Clauser - friendly & responsive service, easy to work with. I did much of my communication with Mellissa, the office manager, over email. This works great for me. The price per cord was competitive (we got 3 cords) and most important - the wood looks great, seasoned, not covered in dirt, etc. I have finally found where I'm buying wood every year (and I've tried most of the other folks on Angie's List). The ONLY thing that would've been good is if they offered stacking - I would've gladly paid for it. But I probably need the exercise...

We were able to schedule a free estimate within a few days of our initial call to Clauser Tree Care. Steve arrived on time and provided a written estimate/proposal within a few minutes after listening to everything we wanted done. The proposal was very competitive compared to other estimates received for the same work. We were able to schedule the work within two weeks. A crew of three men arrived on time and started working right away taking all safety precautions. They trimmed overgrown trees that hung over our long driveway, trimmed and cut trees on two sides of a 2.8 acre lot, trimmed several overgrown bushes, and cut down a large tree. The crew completed the job by mid afternoon and hauled away all debris. This team was very professional, did a fantastic job of cleaning up the yard and driveway and exceeded our expectations.

Three men arrived on the schedule day to prune approximately 175 arborvitaes. The crew arrived on time and were very professional and polite. They were quick to start and worked as a team getting the job done efficiently. A few days later, a crew member from Clauser came and removed two stumps in our yard. We would highly recommend Clauser Tree Care and will use them in the future. They were great and exceeded all our expectations completing the job quickly and neatly. Both trees were potential hazards with the one over the driveway particularly challenging. (My 3 yr old still talks about the big crane!) They did a great job, and cleaned up without leaving a trace they were ever there beyond the absence of the 2 hazards. I was particularly impressed by the office personnel who were polite, responsive and always referred to me and my wife by name when we called. They will definitely be my first call when I need additional tree work and highly recommend them to others seeking the same.

Tree removal went very well. The crew was very professional, showed up on time, handled the removal and cleaned up so well, we almost could not tell they were there, except for the fact that the tree was gone......lol..... I would definitely recommend Clauser Tree Care to anyone

Removed. Fast forward to late spring/early summer, the tree's slow to produce leaves, we assume due to recent cutting. Come August, two big thunderstorms-tons of big branches fall down. We're again concerned about branches coming down in winter, so I call Clauser. Larry no longer works there, the owner comes out. He tells me the tree does have Emerald Ash bore and gives me estimate of approx. $1500 to remove tree, grind stump, and remove grindings. He tells me he feels 'sort of bad about the timing' even though he is not sure it's related, offers a $100 online coupon. Of course, with the Angie's List discount, I can already get a larger discount! He was very professional in our dealings, and to be fair he wasn't there for my previous interactions with Larry. However, I called to give Clauser a second chance to make things right. I would've thought he could offer me a discount more than what I am already entitled to. Honestly, I believe the tree was diseased prior to to the initial cut.

Crew was on time (as was the initial review and estimate), and did an effective, professional job including immaculate clean-up. They were extremely professional and polite, going out of their way to avoid damage to a delicate moss lawn. When I called the office to suggest a modification to the proposed work I received an immediate call-back and very cooperative response. I am definitely happy with the entire experience.
