I used Discount Hauling & Moving Company to move furniture and boxes from Exton, PA to my daughter's college rental in Newark, DE. Pam was responsive and easy to work with, and Rich, the owner, was the lead mover. He is very friendly, worked fast and efficiently, and with great care. Everything was delivered and set up exactly as we asked. Couldn't have asked for more. I recommend them for your next move.

Discount Moving was FANTASTIC! They did everything for our move. They were professional, trustworthy, very inexpensive, flexible and helpful at every step of the process. I can't say enough good things about them.

Movers arrived on time promised. Went about their jobs smoothly some small changes were required. These were made as requested though the original price was increased by a reasonable amount.

Couldn't be happier with this service. They responded to my inquiry very quickly and scheduled the service within a few days. The two gentlemen who arrived were very professional and courteous. They moved the desk and placed it in my office exactly where I indicated. I thought the price was very reasonable. Will definitely use again! A++

Rich & tom were on time, very personable and extremely helpful. I shows them what had to be moved and they went to work. All items were safely packed on truck. They arrived at ac? and proceeded to unload carefully & successfully completed me job. They took apart & re assembled all furniture. They went above and beyond to move & pack items that were not on the list.

Fantastic! Movers arrived on time, were polite and efficient. Broke down bed frame, and reassembled. No damage to anything or walls. Completed move in less than 5 hours.

Soon after my wife passed I needed to move. I decided to go to an apartment, and I needed someone to move me in 5 days. I called Discount Hauling and Moving based on reviews in Angie's List, and I could not have made a better choice. Pam worked with me through email to provide an initial estimate, and to my great fortune they were available the morning of Oct 1. The movers - Rich and George - arrived on time and got right to work. These guys were FANTASTIC! They completed my move in 7 hours from start to finish, and there was not a single scratch or dent on anything. The men were so empathetic to my situation that I feel as though divine intervention led them to my house that day. I'm honestly lost for the right words to describe how thrilled I am with Discount Hauling and Moving. I completely and enthusiastically recommend them for your move. When I leave this apartment someday, I WILL without any hesitation call Discount. Thank you Pam, George, and most especially Rich for making my transition not only bearable, but pleasant.

Move went very well. They were very careful with the furniture and no damage occurred. Price quoted was for a specific list of items and was adjusted for additional items added the day of the move. They also made a separate trip to move items from second floor for a moving sale. Absolutely recommend them for small moves.

They did a great job, nary a scratch on the new paint job. We got the best possible price and the work done on short notice on a Sunday no less.

Rich arrived on time. Listened to what was needed. Good communication. Quick, efficient move. All furniture placed right where we wanted it.

Moving items went smoothly, couldn't ask for a more pleasant transition. Both gentlemen performing this transaction were completely professional. This facility charges a 'FLAT' fee for the number of items to be moved. They DO NOT charge for time on the road getting to your first location, like SO many try to do. All businesses should treat their customers like Discount Hauling and Moving treats theirs. If anyone is looking for a moving service, you do not need to look any further. Discount Hauling and Moving Company is 'simply the best' to deal with. A good ole American made company!!

Unfortunately, DISCOUNT HAULING & MOVING's truck broke down on the way to our job and they managed to arrive only 20 mins late accompanied with 2 U-Hauls . They got to work immediately and completed the job on time. All 3 men were extremely courteous. The owner was on site and worked hard himself. We had some items that we had to add on last minute, which were priced as we were quoted for add ons.

Overall everything went well. Crew was excellent, worked hard and were done within a few hours. We liked that an exact price was given so we were aware of what the total cost would be ahead of time. I realized later that one of our bed frames was left on the truck, and I called and again the call was returned promply and the frame was delivered to me immediately, they apologized for them being left on the truck as well. Very good service.
