+ -1 moreRyan, Provided a concise plan to lift the house a fraction of an inch with Jacks and 20 foot timbers. The front of the house was excavated and the fractured wall was removed in record time. The wall was rebuilt all the while as rain continued outside. Ryan had the fore site to set a canopy in front of the house to deflect the rain. The wall took about a week to cure it was then wrapped in a rubber barrier and insulated with one inch foam before the backfill project took place. Total time from start to finish was approximately 3 weeks. This included the excavation, wall replacement, cure time and backfill. He is an amazing contractor. I stay in touch with him often referring others to his business.

We are very happy with how quickly his work was performed as our roof contractor had to wait for Ryan to finish before the roof could begin. His work is top shelf and he is a dependable contractor to use. Ryan Lloyd is a great stone mason and one that I would recommend without reservation.

+ -1 moreRyan could not have been more helpful, workmanlike and knowledgeable if he had been in business for decades. His completely professional approach and human qualities, make me certain than in no time his firm will not only dominate the local market, but also - if he so desires - expand as far as he wishes.
Description of Work: Mr. Lloyd performed a complex repair on two damaged garage footers, and misc. smaller repairs. He not only charged me less than his initial bid, but upon consulting with his grandfather (Ryan is a 3rd generation mason) about a cheaper approach - to insure it would be sound - he charged me considerably less than I'd said I was willing to pay! He also threw in numerous "freebies" - something I have never, in my experience, encountered with contractors (e.g., he included all licensing costs and talks with "CODE" - there were quite a number.). Out of kindness alone, he also went to considerable trouble to help me prepare for an imminent hurricane. Because of the quality of his work, his price and all confidence he has inspired, I have also hired him (Spring), to redo two black-top drives in concrete. This will include completely removing and repouring a badly worn carport floor (concrete), and adding a front parking spot which will join the two drives. His price for all this is far less than merely redoing the two drives in blacktop. I had never thought I could afford concrete drives - a major increase to my home value and curb appeal. Note, that his background is third generation concrete artist plus years of in-depth technical school training to update all knowledge. Ryan is GREAT! Talented, responsive, professional, trustworthy and hard-working. Meeting him was my good fortune.

He was very honest (very rare!) and very pleasant to deal with - what a nice guy! His team was great, they worked really fast and exceeded expectation. The work was done very professionally - A+ job. I would recommend Ryan Lloyd masonry to anybody. There's a reason he's rated top on Angie's List in the area.

+ -1 moreOur basement flooded during a flood in Central Pennsylvania in early September 2011. The prognosis was a cracked foundation wall that needed to be replaced. I placed a call to Ryan Lloyd Masonry and he showed up within just a few hours and provided me an inspection. Ryan gave us an estimate within 72 hours. We agreed on a start date and although we had rain during the repair Ryan took the extra steps and covered the entire front of the house in plastic and amazingly continued the repairs without skipping a beat. Ryan is a true professional in every way.
Description of Work: Replaced a basement foundation wall and a front porch and installed pre-cast stairs with Bilco doors.
