Description of Work: He came, with prompting, to do several small handiman jobs. I asked him to do a plumbing job in the garage. He agreed and had a plan of operation. I called him 4 times to ask when he was coming to do the job. He kept telling me he would be here in a week or so. That was almost 3 years ago. He has never shown up to do the job. The work he did was acceptable and his prices were not too bad but he is not reliable.

+ -1 moreIt should have been a fairly simple job. Take an existing level spot, make it a little bigger, install landscape timbers around the perimeter, install a playset, and fill the area with mulch. The playset area is okay, but it's clearly not level. He said he did this intentionally for better drainage, but never discussed it with me beforehand. My two main complaints are that he wanted more money after the job was complete, claiming it took more materials than he had anticipated, and that he totally messed up our lawn in the process. When I called him about repairing the lawn, he wanted several hundred dollars more for that. So, overall the workmanship was average to below average, the cost mysteriously went up, and he wanted to charge me for his mistake.
Description of Work: Regraded part of the yard, installed a playset, and covered area in mulch.
