W M Prescott Roofing & Remodeling came, inspected and took the pictures of the damaged chimney cap. They told us they would order a new stainless steel cap to prevent rust and damage. They removed the old and replaced it with a new one.

Was called as to time of arrival. Worked steadily until completion and cleaned up well.

WM Prescott are a quality company, they have a customer representative who is in contact with you throughout the job. The company performed a great job clearing up after the removal of the old tar roof (very messy). The new roof looks and performs excellent. We had some initial problems with the drains, and WM Prescott were very responsive to our concerns, sending out a representative to understand the problem. In the end we went with commercial style drains and these have performed well. The problem we had with the drains is that they backed up onto the roof causing water to leak internally over the top of the drain pipes. After the pipe was cleared all was well, and better drains were installed (sealed to the pipe to prevent the problem from occurring again). A camera inspection later did find a nail down the pipe with some fragments of old roof. It is unknown whether these fragments of old roof caused the blockage or were as a result of WM Prescott removing the roof. I would use this company again.

It was hard to give them to call back.

They are a very conservative company. They put a lot of emphaiss on quality, service, and follow-up. I'm very satisfied with them. They also stand behind the work.

Prescott staff is a professional staff - on time, on task and quality workmanship. Clean up is impeccable.

After having a horrible experience trying to use Home Depot for roofing we called Prescott. Prescott had been our first choice but they couldn't do the roof when we wanted it done (which was right away) and Home Depot claimed they could. Six months later after Home Depot repeatedly didn't show up and when they did they came with the wrong roofing material we were able to get out of our contract and again called Prescott. They did a quick, clean, precise and wonderful looking job! This was over 6 years ago and the roof is still perfect!

Wm. Prescott Roofing & Remolding, Inc. was the low cost bidder for my roof repair. I contacted a few contractors, including a remediation specialist, who were way more expensive. I was familiar with Prescott's work, since they originally worked on my roof, replacing the shingles and deteriorated wood back in 1997. But even with the installation of a ridge vent and fan, the poor construction design of my mansard roof still cause another sever moisture problem to developed. Chris Schmider, VP of Operations at Prescott, spent extensive time assiting me with analyzing my problem and came up with what I feel to be the right solution. We incorporated the use of a "wedge vent" for the front of my house where the roof goes over the side. This permits the flow of air into the attic from the area which prevously had been restricted. I signed a contract in June. I called to schedule in August. They had an opening the next day. Two fellows came and fixed the problem in 1 half a day. It took some creativity.

The 2 men showed up on time, answered all of our questions and worked well. Through clean up of all debris afterward.

We signed a contract with Prescott roofing on August 17th and heard nothing from them until we called around October 15th. They said they were ready to start the work and asked us to send the deposit. Work began late October/early November. They were able to finish most of the work in a single day, but had to come back to finish the painting, diverter work, and seal areas on the flat bay roof. They came back about a week later and finished painting but didn't extend the diverter or seal the flat roof. It took until December 8th for the work to finally be complete. The completed work was excellent, but marred by the lack of communication and time it took to complete the job. If not for the very poor communication and time it took to get the job completed, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. The good thing is that they only require 1/3 down for the deposit and the balance upon completion which further ensures that they will complete the job.

WE WERE PUT ON A WAITING LIST BECAUSE THEY WERE BUSY AND WEATHER WAS A PROBLEM. WE APPRECIATE THEIR HONESTY AND WHEN THEY CAME THEY DID A THOROUGH JOB AND WARRANTED THEIR WORK FOR ONE YEAR.
