Superior Walls By Collier Foundation Systems, Inc.

I purchased a home last year that was built approximately 11 years ago and has a 'Superior Walls' basement. Since I moved in, I have had a growing number of problems with water in my basement in 3 separate areas. My basement clearly states on the wall that it has a 15 year warranty. It also has clearly printed on the wall a toll free number to call in case of issue (877-440-WALL). I attempted to contact Superior Wall Systems last year after the problems became apparent, and had little success in reaching a live body. In fact, there is no answer at the number as stated above. After browsing for information on Superior Wall Systems, I was able to reach their Pittsburgh office, who denied any obligation to the warranty, and who also stated that the warranty liability is the responsibility of the franchisee of Collier Foundation Systems who made the basement walls, and referred me to a 'corporate' phone number. My basement walls were manufactured by a franchisee based out of Youngstown, who has since gone out of business. I have tried on multiple occasions to reach the franchisor (Collier Foundation Systems) both last year and this year including today. Not once have I even received a return phone call. At this point I guess their official stance is that they have zero liability or responsibility for my leaky basement, despite the fact that they clearly state a 15 year warranty both on the walls themselves as well as on their website. DO NOT BELEIVE IT AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS CONTRACTOR. THEY DO NOT STAND BY THEIR WORDS.
