Pittsburgh Fence Company was an on going problem. They were aware that I own 2 60 pound dogs. Essentially the dogs were running through the fence. So my dogs were running through the neighborhood after I spent an exorbitant amount of money to have this fence done. After numerous calls to the owner no satisfaction was gained on my part, because he said there was nothing they could do. I could have went to Lowes for a third of the price of this fence. The guy was a friend. I bought it because he said it was the best fence available, it wouldn't crack, and that it was more rubber than plastic. What he didn't tell me was that it is tongue and grooved in so that it provides more flexibility. If you took your foot and kicked it you could take the fence out. So my dogs heard a truck coming or another dog and the one hit it so hard it knocked the fence down and I had 2 sheep dogs running through the neighborhood. I said to him I don't care what you do, if you have to put a 2x4 on the back of it and attach it so that it cant't give when the fence is hit. I didn't care what they did I just wanted it fixed and he said there was nothing they could do. I ended up taking him to small claims court. I would never use this company ever. It looks really nice, but it doesn't hold my dogs in. It is a beautiful fence and when you look at it you can tell it is not a sh%* fence from Lowes. To correct the issue I had to go out and buy an wireless fence for my dogs. I had to put it around the outside of the fence. Then I turned it up so that it could go through the fence. That way I could train my dogs not to go through the fence. It has corrected the problem, but it cost me another $1600. I did get back some of the money back, but not all the money I thought I should have gotten. Avoid at all costs.
Description of Work: We used Pittsburgh Fence Company. They installed 140 feet of vinyl fencing.
