Koncrete Koncepts went above and beyond to get the job done. There were minor hiccups along the way but everything was taken care of towards the end. Trey's team was professional, friendly, hardworking and easy to work with. They arrived super early on Tuesday morning to perform the work and it took them almost 14 hours to get the job done. Originally, we discussed cutting and pouring concrete up to 6 inches but they ended up cutting almost 8 inches. This will indeed help concrete stay in its place for a long time. Also, the areas which were worked on are exposed to pretty heavy traffic. For that reason, depth of the concrete was one of the important factors for this job. I am planning on calling Koncrete concepts back for some more work and would gladly recommend them to anyone.

I wrote a glowing review in 2013 when Trey and Co. completed the work. Over the winter, an 11"x11"x11' triangle spalled out of a corner of a slab and the slab has developed a crack. I have written numerous emails to Trey and called him since 5/1/16. He is totally ingnoring me.

Trey is very professional. He was very prompt in coming to the house to assess the project, make recommendations, and provide an estimate. He came when he said he would, he gave me an approximate time when he would be available to begin the project, and then followed up within that approximate timeframe and did the project. The work was quality, clean and we are very pleased with Trey and his team and the overall experience.

We are so pleased with the work Koncrete Koncepts did for us. Trey got back to us promptly, especially considering the time of year and how busy things are. He came out to do an estimate and was obviously very knowledgeable. The price was more than competitive, and even included tearing up and repairing an area around a drain that had sunken in. The job took two days, one to excavate and one to pour. Trey stopped by several times the first day to check in, and did the majority of the work himself the second day. The young men he had working for him were polite and capable. Trey was happy to answer questions and was extremely understanding when my brat of a dog ran through the wet concrete. I would recommend Trey and Koncrete Koncepts to anyone.

Trey at Koncrete Koncepts provided me with a quote for a concrete driveway and acid stained floor in my basement. He was prompt in setting up the appointment and delivering the quote. Trey was very personable and took the time to explain everything. While we decided to go a different direction (asphalt driveway and carpet in basement), his quotes seemed reasonable.

I have been calling and left several messages and have not gotten a response, and I need them to come back out.

We contacted several potential concrete contractors to perform our desired work (excavation of a portion of an existing concrete driveway pad and replacement with the addition of a new, shorter concrete driveway pad with a drain and curb). Trey came out within a day of our initial inquirty to observe the area and discuss the intended work. A day later we had a quote that we found to be very reasonable in comparison with others we had received. He was booked for the next month or so but gave us an estimate for when he would be available and stuck to that anticipated timeframe. The team showed up on time, performed the work as requested, and we are happy with the final product. My one minor complaint would be that the color of the concrete seems a little inconsistent throughout the area of work, but the level of variation is minor. This was our first experience using a contractor recommended by Angie's list, and I would say that it went very well overall.

Trey showed up to give an estimate on time, was able to provide me an estimate while on site and was under the price of some of the other estimates I had gotten. Worked well to communicate quite a few changes I wanted to make along the way and to schedule the actual work to be done. Trey and his crew showed up each day (ended up being a 3 day job) and worked relentlessly to get the job done. I would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to a few co-workers.

Since I received no responses from my emails, I assume this means he does not have the proper insurance so I did not pursue the issue further.

Trey Miller (owner) and his two man crew installed a new concrete patio to replace an old patio and they also rebuilt an old belgium block wall at my elderly mothers house. In early March 2015, I submitted a request for an estimate through Angie's list to Koncrete Koncepts. Trey promptly responded via email to set up an appointment and we agreed to meet me the next day at my mothers house at 1pm. Trey showed up at exactly 1pm and took measurements for the patio. I then asked him if he could also rebuild an approx 10ft section of the wall that has fallen down, he said they could. He explained how they would go about removing the existing patio and then how they would install the new concrete patio. He answered all of our questions and provided us with the price for the job right there during the appointment. I asked him if he could send me a proposal with the details so I could review to make a decision, he said he would email it within 24 hours. I received the email with the estimate the same day, approximately 3 hours after the appointment. About 2 weeks later I called Trey and left him a message with some questions I had. He promptly returned my call about 15min later and answered my questions which then required a revised proposal to add an additional section of the wall to be re-built. He sent me the revised proposal within several hours via email. We decided to use Koncrete Koncepts for the job and mailed him a signed agreement at the beginning of April. The proposal had an approximate start date of April 20th depending on weather. The job began on April 20th. Trey and his 2 man crew arrived on time at 8am began the demolition of the old patio, I asked him if he could rebuild the entire wall which he measured at 36 ft. He provided the revised price for the wall and we agreed to it. They worked tirelessly without taking a break and by the end of day one they had the old patio removed and prepared the forms and gravel to begin the concrete pour the next morning. He also began to rebuild the portio of the wall that was along side the patio edge. On day 2 they arrived approx 7:30am to prepare for the concrete truck that arrived at 8am. Trey performed alot of the detail trowel work himself after the pour to trowel the edges and patio surface etc. They all worked throughout the day to finish the patio and the two steps and to rebuild the remaining portion of the wall. They cleaned up everything and hauled away all debris to our satisfaction. My mother and I are very pleased with the finished work. Trey was very accommodating as we added the last portion of the wall on the day of the job. It was refreshing to experience a company that does what they say they will do, is reliable and responsive and worked hard throughout the two days to complete the job.

The provider contacted us quickly and provided an estimate within one week. Although the the cost was higher than some we received, we decided based on the other Angie's list reviews to go with this provider. The owner was on site with a two man crew during the entire process. It was a three day process in which I do not think any of the three ever took a break. Day one was destruct of old walkway and building of forms. Day two was pouring concrete base. Day three was cutting and laying new stone. The walkway turned out better than we could have expected. We knew going in the stone was going to be difficult to match since the stone we have in place is 60 some years old. The stone the provider chose made the walkway a great mix of orange, red, beige, blue, and grey colors which make it a special approached to our stone home. We definiatlely and wholeheartedly recommend.

This is the second time we have used Koncrete Koncepts for home repair and maintenance. This time we had them replace an old, rickety side porch that we used to access the backdoor. They arrived early Monday morning to begin removal. They pulled down the entire porch structure and removed the old concrete pad underneath it. Using the old concrete footers they found, they built a new, solid, beautiful side porch deck. They used pressure treated wood to build it, we did look into a concrete porch, but decided on wood for cost and convenience (the door in question is the door we use the most). They poured a new concrete pad under the porch. They spent the entire day on out project, and it shows. The new structure is very stable, aligned, and level. The new railing is strong and to code. As a side note, the sidewalk and patio they created for us last fall are still beautiful and strong. We are very pleased and will call Koncrete Koncepts when we need concrete work done again.

We would hire this team again and probably will do so for another concrete project where our cars are parked. I have already given their name to our neighbors who admired the work that Trey and his team created for us.

I contacted them in July, they responded quickly to give me an estimate. Trey was very helpful and professional. He scheduled me for August, but was delayed by rain (understandably). Work began in September, Trey called before hand to let us know they would be starting. When we had questions, he responded quickly and with patience. The concrete sidewalk and patio came out beautifully, and the rain storm we had recently drained away. The work went quickly and they cleaned everything up afterwards.

I contacted them on 7/18/14 to get an estimate for concrete work. I never received a call back. Very unprofessional in my opinion!

Prompt response for estimate and scheduling. Work very professionally done. Cleaned up as they went along. I would hire again.

We had excellent experience with Konkrete Koncepts Company from start to finish. I have obtained estimates from 5 contractors and Mr. Miller promptly answered and gave us the estimate on the site, was not the cheapest but provided the best information and timeframe of the job. Regarding the work , the crew and Mr. Miller came in as planned, were very punctual and did the job in 3 days that was really impressive. They cleaned up the whole job site. We had last minute request and Mr. Miller was very flexible and did what we asked for. Absolutely very impressed and satisfied by the quality of the job. We plan to use his services again

Very impressed with this contractor from start to finish. Showed up on time for an estimate, very reasonable price. Scheduled the work and began the job on the date agreed, finished the work over a 2 day period. Trey Miller and his crew were very professional and obviously very experienced in this type of work. They made the effort to make the sidewalk look very good and cleaned up completely when they were done. I couldn't have asked for a better result, very , very, pleased with their work. I would call them again if needed.

Trey was one of two contractors that returned our call right away. He came out within a week and went over what we wanted done and provided an estimate that we thought was reasonable so we asked him to do the work. He kept us advised of his schedule and was only one day later than what he told us due to weather. The work was done in the three days that he told us it would take although he had to take a day off due to rain which is to be expected in Western PA in the spring. The work was done exactly as we wanted it. His crew was very professional. They cleaned up every night before they left and hauled off the old cement and retaining walls. We are very happy with the results and would highly recommend Trey and Koncrete Koncepts.
