Jeff did a multipurpose pad in our backyard to be used for sports or for additional parking. Besides pouring concrete he also excavated to level the area as much as possible. The project was a bit tricky due to the elevation differences and he was able to give us as much flat area as possible. One thing that we should have been explicit and discussed with jeff was the type of control joints we could have. His crew was professional. After the excavation our family had to go out of town and Jeff finished the work as expected and would send us progress/pictures at the end of the day. This is the most trust we have put on any contractor.

Upon the recommendation of another excellent local independent contractor (Ken Staub Construction/Renovations), we called Bob Johnson to prep the footer and pouring site, prepare the sub-base, build a form, mix and pour the concrete, and form a door sill attached to our patio. Bob made the step/sill look smooth, sturdy, and substantial, and blended it in with the surrounding cement and brick/mortar. Clean-up was next to perfect. Bob and his partner did not disrupt our household routine or even our easily distracted (barking) new puppies. Taking around four hours to complete, the job looks great, and we felt the price was right. I anticipate that with proper maintenance, the concrete will be durable, and will add value to the house. We are very happy with our door sill.
Description of Work: Bob Johnson (Concrete Credentials) built a cement sill, a single step for a three-panel Marvin sliding door for access to/from our game-room and back yard.
