After two weeks, we heard nothing. Repeated phone calls have resulted in this following message " The party you have dialed is no longer receiving calls fromthis number". We drove by their place of business and it looks as though the place is closed. They cashed our check, and have had no response since. What a rip-off! We ordered the needed part and installed it ourselves.
Description of Work: Service tech determined our Whirlpool gas range needed a gas valve. We wrote him a check for $189.00 to cover the cost of the part and he said he ordered while he was here and the part would be in within 7-10 days.

The tech told us verbally that the compressor on the refrigerator was bad and repair would be too expensive. The tech charged me $68.90 for service fee, Before throwing away the refrigerator as trash, I just looked up the symptoms on Google. Lot of appliance repair websites and blogs said that normally the PTC relay is faulty. On an instinct, I ordered the PTC relay from Sears online parts. It cost me a total of $18.59 with tax and shipping. I replaced the relay and the refrigerator started working. It has been working fine since 7/30. I am using it as a second refrigerator in the garage. I called the shop to have the service charges refunded and they refused saying it was a human error. Offered me store credit instead. I declined because all my appliances are brand new and I don't shop at their store. I don't even know where the store is located. It is rather unfortunate that they do not stand behind their diagnosis. Any reputed shop would have promptly refunded the charges. Speaks volume about their style of doing business. Instead, I was told that other than my word, they had no proof that the refrigerator was working.

Description of Work: Tanger was able to replace my old refrigerator, that had stopped working on a Sunday, with one that exactly matched my ivory colored appliances, which are not currently in vogue. They were here on Monday morning, sent an independent contractor to see if my old fridge could be repaired without great expense. When I decided to go no further into a big repair bill, I went over and picked out the perfect refrigerator for my needs....and it was on sale....and they came out and installed it that afternoon. There was no additional charge for delivery or removing my old refrigerator. Good company! I'd go there again.

It's a very small operation, almost like a mom and pop place. You get very good, individualized attention. They are helpful with informing you about the bells and whistles. They answer your questions about the machines. Their prices are good compared to other appliance dealers. I feel comfortable with them. I would absolutely use them again.

Went very well. The sales people took a lot of time with us discussing our needs and actually turned us away from what we thought we wanted to something that worked much better for us.
