He's very good. His work was perfect, absolutely gorgeous, but he was so unreliable. He's just implausible. He just keeps calling, saying, "when should I come by", talks about what you want done, and then he talks about it for the third time but he still doesn't come. I just couldn't get him to do anything. It's just awful. I just think somebody needs to take charge of his calendar and help him out here. He promised things every third or fourth week and we even hadn't taken cared of things. Other companies have things on their calendar but not this guy, I mean, we didn't see him the rest of the summer. He's been busy and now it rained. Well, he do things like show up and weed on the flower beds, except he throws all the weeds down in the woods, and we keep on trying to tell him that the woods are our backyard. There are wild flowers down there; we had told him about that almost a hundred times but he's just too scattered. I don't think I'll use him in the future, that's why I went on Angie's List to look for a replacement. I think he's pretty reasonable, though.

Not well. Hired Tony in March but it took several weeks (maybe even over a month) for him to arrive to begin work. After many phone calls, he would appear for a few hours to do some work, usually showing up late in the day. We asked for a contract several times as he would forget items he agreed to in the original price. Luckily we paid him in increments as to not be out more than the work he was doing was worth. When he did the yard he drove across our brand new $6000 driveway with his bobcat, of which he was specifically asked not to do, and put scrapes and gouges in it and then refused to put in a claim with his insurance company. He tried to paint the brick on our house in the dark with a regular wall roller and a small brush. We had to redo his work and still have paint all over the new siding and trim that he has never come to take care of. He dropped off a load of soil in our old driveway and left it there until many things were growing in it (and it wasn't grass). The top soil was also not good, he spread this all over our yard and now we have weeds and what looks like some kind of herb. Seemed like soil was old soil removed from someone garden. He left the bag of seed on our porch in below freezing temperatures so the actual grass never took. He layed so much hay in areas that it drowned out any chance any good grass might have had (our old driveway and walkway are still very visible with many areas completely dead). He was also hired to level the yard of which was also not done properly. The stone walkway has some major defects that would have been avoided by a more professional stone layer. Walkway is a random pattern but there are several places, one in the middle especially, where the same exact bricks were used in a row. Also has two areas that were not cut correctly and are very visable. He also never came back to put the final coat of pollimer sand on it. He laid the stepping stones over sand and small stones but one of the larger stones broke within two weeks as he had not set it correctly. He did replace it but with a much smaller stone so it now looks very out of place. Tony had done clean up work for us before and always gave a very good price and did good at this, however as far as actually making things look nice, his work was below industry standards. It was a very unprofessional and unpleasant experience. We finally had to fire him and are now stuck with a yard we are not happy with until we can either finish the work ourselves or afford to hire someone else. For three months we had to call him constantly to ask him when he was coming to finish the work or when he would correct issues he had created. There's so much more I could go on about but just want folks to be warned. If the price sounds too good to be true. It is!
Description of Work: HIred to install paver walkway, stone pathways, small stone retaining wall, clean, edge and prepare flower beds, remove ivy from under bushes, remove hews and rhode, spread top soil where old driveway and sidewalk were, level front and side yard, plant grass, paint brick on house.

Tony from Landscapes by Tony Delimpio Company does everything from landscaping to high end hardscaping and even fencing. He uses very high quality products for fencing, which is on hold for us at the moment. When I call him and if he is on a job, he will not answer his phone or messages. Sometimes it takes him a couple of days to get back to me. He always does get back to me even if there is a delay. He shows up when he says he is going to show up. I would continue to use him in the future.
Description of Work: I last used Landscapes by Tony Delimpio Company about three weeks ago. They did some clean up work, removed some hedges and also did some trim work. They basically prepped up the yard for landscaping and some hardscaping work that is coming up.
