Very poor job they ripped up tile without any safety measures and we had the tile tested and was asbestos. They charged extra for leveling of new tile and tiles are uneven. Have sent out 2 emails to Fluss and no response, but received a bill for services . They broke bottom of printer stand and left a huge mess that we are still trying to clean up. Not to mention that the the family being exposed to asbestos.

Like all old houses once the old floor was removed, we had to change the plan. The Fluss folks handled it without an issue. They poured a new mud bed and did a great job installing the tile. They made sure everything was to our liking before they called the job complete. I would use their services again.

The work went quickly, and the man dealt with a tricky problem of meshing the new floor with some existing floor.

12/08/11: Fluss Flooring did reach out to talk about our customer service experience with the company, offer an apology and do a follow up. These are good people trying to do the best they can and striving to be better at what they are doing. While things did not go 100% smoothly the first time around, I believe without a doubt things will go better the second time around when we hire them again. The initial visit to the store and home consultation was great. They were very helpful and knowledgeable. They even took us to the homes/offices where flooring we were considering was installed so that we could see their work and how the flooring looked in the real world. We were excited to work with them. The main issues: upon the delivery of the wood, the deliverer did not check the lots on the boxes to make sure everything matched. The installers also did not check the boxes before beginning the job. It was two days into the job before it was noticed that three boxes sent from the warehouse were a different lot and did not match the rest of what was installed. Whose job is it to check these things and make sure all the supplies are correct before beginning a job? So they had to stop the job, leaving 5% of it unfinished for about 4 days while we waited for the right boxes to arrive. When it did arrive, we only received two boxes but they took away three (we still do not have the third box, even after asking and paying for it). It also took a while (at least another week) to get the transition trim installed because what we had decided on was not going to work (that wasn't really their fault, just how it worked out with the way the floor was angled). I asked questions about the warranty on the wood and never got a definitive answer. I think the thing that has bothered us the most has been no customer service follow-up after the installation. We have an entire home that we want to re-floor over the next few years. We received no call or email a month or so after installation to check their work and see how the floor is doing. We did not even get a 'thank you for your business' card in the mail. We tried to be patient even after all the installation issues, I do not think we were pain-in-the-a** customers. Yet we have heard NOTHING from the company in the 6 months since the floor was installed. They did such a great job with customer service before the sale but really failed big time after they got the last payment in the mail.

They are very good. They completed the carpet on the first day and they came out to do the tile on the second day.

Communication was good. When we had questions about the carpet maintenance or needed to change the date of installation our calls were returned promptly. The carpeting work took one and 1/2 workdays. Two workmen arrived in a timely manner. They were professional and careful workers. We had good weather so they actually cut the carpet in our driveway. They vacumed the new carpet when finished and swept up outside in the driveway. They took our old carpet and padding with them. As mentioned they were not asked to move furniture. There are extra costs for furniture moving. We were very pleased with the quality of the service and love our new carpet.

They ripped up the carpet and we got solid wood flooring, not a laminate. This was our first time using Fluss and they were very good. Their pricing was probably about right for this area. We were trying to match some flooring in our kitchen area so someone came out to look and when he came back all of the samples were within a shade of what we wanted. The flooring that they installed is almost a perfect match; the only difference is the finish. If not for the difference in gloss, you would think they were installed at the same time. Their timing met our schedule, it took them three days to install, and the installer was very professional. There was one board that did not meet the wall properly but he came out the day after we notified them and fixed it on the spot. We are very satisfied with their service and product. We went a little higher with the price than we originally planned but it was still within our budget.

September 30, 2010 In response to Fluss Flooring, you are untruthful to say I was told there would be a $75 charge for moving furniture. As I was never told this charge would be incurred. I had two small night stands, I could have easily moved, however, the double bed and chest of drawers I could not have moved. I am 65 and if I had known of this extra expense my neighbors would have gladly helped move these two remaining items. I am disappointed he said I was made aware of this as I was not. The two men put down the carpet pad and were out of my house in less then an hour.

The project went very well. The initial estimate did not include the carpentry work but the worker spent several hours fixing the problem including running back to their company to get the necessary equipment and wood to do the job right. They charged us $75 for the extra work. We are very pleased with the work and would definitely recommend Fluss Flooring.

They were great. They were very punctual and professional. They had a good product at a decent price, and I would definitely use them again.

This was a totally satisfactory project. After an initial visit to the showroom a manager visited our home to assess how the project could best be completed and to measure the area in which we wished to install new flooring. Our initial intent was to install a laminate product, however, the company representative explained why laminate would not suit our needs. He provided several alternate suggestions, and upon returning to the showroom, provided samples of each. After making our tentative selection we were told that it would take a week to have the estimate. Being an impatient person I expressed my disappointment; the very next day the estimate arrived in the mail. The product was ordered and arrived fairly quickly. Installation was a two day process. The installer arrived promptly each morning and demonstrated great skill, good humor, and an outstanding work ethic. And he has great (and appropriate) pride in his work. At the end of each work day our home was left in spotless condition. I would certainly work with these folks again.
