Pittsburgh Budget Painters

My husband and I purchased a new home and I was going to paint the interior of the house myself. I started in my daughter's room and after it took me 3 days (yes 3) to do 1 room, I realized there was no way I was going to finish the entire house in under 3 weeks. (I also learned I do not like to paint 😝😬.) I googled painters in my area and Pittsburgh Budget Painters came up. When I called, the owner Joe answered right away. He was so polite over the phone and answered all of my questions; he met with my husband the following morning to give an estimate. I expressed my sense of urgency and even with his other commitments, he was able to squeeze us in. Painting began the following week! Joe had his employee Thomas paint our house. Thomas was also very kind. He kept in touch with me every day to let me know when he was there, when he was taking a break and when he was done for the day. He did an exceptional job. Being a first time home buyer, I was initially worried about getting the runaround, phone calls not being returned, etc. after hearing other people's horror stories and reading other's reviews. Joe and Thomas set the bar very high. Every phone call/text was answered right away. I cannot express how happy and thankful I am that I found these guys. I highly recommend Pittsburgh Budget Painters and I will definitely be using them again in the future! Thank you Joe & Thomas!!!

He was easy to reach and pleasant to talk to and came out to see what needed to be done. In our conversation we talked about how frustrating it is to spend the time having someone come out for an estimate and then never getting an estimate. He agreed and told me they would get an estimate out to us quickly. Well, guess what happened? We never heard from them again. We didn't bother following up with them. We worked with another company instead.

Pittsburgh Budget Painters were excellent. They were efficient, professional and courteous. They did an excellent job painting the back of our house. We would highly recommend them !

Joe was very professional and easy to work with, was prompt in keeping touch with changes to the schedule as we all know trying to get things done outside in Pittsburgh tends to be spotty at best when it comes to the weather! He was by far the most affordable of the painters we had come out to take a look at the job, and the most willing to only do what we were asking them to do, and not try to talk us into increasing the scope of the project. I would use Pittsburgh Budget Painters again, and would recommend them to my friends and family when looking for a house painter.

Pittsburgh Budget Painters was very professional and easy to deal with. The paint workmanship was excellent, neat, clean and detailed. The management staff and workmen were courteous, attentive and conscientious. The finished product was all that we had hoped for and expected.

They did exactly what they said they would. Promptly set an appointment to view the job, Arrived on time to review and agree upon work to be done. We agreed to have them come as their schedule allowed as there was no rush on my part. Budget Painters called about 1 week ahead of time to coordinate scheduling, and confirmed that the paint that I promised to supply was on hand. The crew showed up right on time and went to work in a friendly, professional manner. Work was beautifully done, with care and precision. An excellent experience all the way around!

Budget Painters came in and: Scraped old paint off where it was needed, pretty much all over. Fully primed the kitchen, had to use oil base primer, due to old wall paper adhesive on walls. Painted top coat and painted the trim. Cleaned up after. Top Notch Work, Highly Recommend

Joe is a perfectionist! They did a very good, efficient job. When there were a couple of glitches, they were quickly dealt with. I would highly recommend them!

I have used Budget Painters previously. A water leak developed from the attic mounted airconditioning unit and caused paint and plaster to come down in the kitchen. I realy needed this repaired ASAP so I called Joe on Friday last, to schedule an apointment. He made some room , in his schedule, and came out himself on Tuesday morning. He repaired the section of ceiling, with a patching plaster, sanded the area and then primed it to blend in with the rest of the ceiling, then put the top coat on. Work was completed quickly and area was cleaned to his usual high standards. HIGHLY RECOMMEND For a Highly Professional paint job that will last Hire Pittsburgh Budget Painters

I ended up not getting the work done because I was out of his service area. I felt that if they were going to put a deal out there, they should have specified what areas they service ahead of time. However, I did not have a problem getting a refund.

As far as I know the experience was fine. They did a nice job and we were pleased with what happened. The job that they did looks fine. The people were very pleasant to deal with. We just didn’t have any problems at all. On pricing, I have no idea because my husband was doing the searching and he would be able to compare for what was that he had talked to. The quality was fine. We probably would use them again in the future.

I was not contacted and since the work was to be exterior, the weather prohibits doing the job. Would like a refund, please.

Nothing was started. He called me two weeks in a row and told me each time that he would call to set up the service date for the following week when he found out more about his schedule. He never was able to set up the time to fit me into his schedule. I don't understand it.

Job is much too large for the coupon amount, $1,400 over. He said, I could charge the $399 back.

Joe Christiano (the owner/field supervisor) responded to my initial call very quickly, and came out to look at the job within a few days. He was right on time, and he and his workers were here promptly at 8am every day. (The one day they were running late, Joe called to tell me when they would be here - a much-appreciated courtesy!) Any small glitches were quickly fixed, and Joe went above and beyond to make sure we were happy, even doing some extra work himself when he wasn't satisfied with the way something turned out. We are very happy with the work, and would highly recommend Pittsburgh Budget Painters!

Company was working across the street so we got a first-hand look at their work ethic before we contacted them. Husband went over to talk to owner (Joe) who after he was done for the day came and gave us a price. It was very fair so we employed his services on the spot. Joe set a date and was here pronto. Told us 3 days to do the work, and did it in 2. There were additional painters, and I must say I have never met more cordial and polite young men. They cleaned and sanded the shutters and provided color samples from which to choose. They cleaned, sanded and caulked the foundation walls. We had selected a color for the foundation, but Joe came up with an ever better brick match. We are very satisfied with the work and the painters. Do yourself a favor and call Joe. You won't regret it.
