+ -1 moreI am very happy with the final product. Whalen was able to take what I told him, and lay out a plan with specific plants and mulch bed design that met my needs. I am very happy with the service. He is a little difficult to get in contact with but the wait is worth it.
Description of Work: Whalen designed and put together an excellent Landscaping plan.

Description of Work: We initially met Tom when purchasing a tree in the Fall - he came to plant it and we mentioned we were looking for a mason to build a stone wall and he said he might be able to help. After having no luck finding someone who would use natural stone, we rembered Tom had said to give him a call, He came over and walked the yard for over an hour and I told him what we were looking for and he said he though he could find some stones just like we wanted. We had basically given up finding anything close to the stone walls we envisioned but were getting despearted and liked Tom's ideas and prices so went with him. Well, he built us 2 walls that were exactly what we had wanted and beautiful lanscaping to go along with them. They also regraded the hill, replanted grass and mulched and trimmed the rest of our property and gave us a very fair price. His crew was prompt and professional. He is not difficult to reach and he returns calls. I call on his cell, leave a message and he calls back and then shows up when he says he will. I would love to have him come do more landscaping for us again soon!

I was not not sure of what I wanted and Tom Whalen of Whalen Nursrey and Landscaping, came to give me an estimate. After walking around my yard - he suggested various colors and plantings, that would complement the yard. He used various colors and unique plantings, edged, mulched, etc. around the front, sides and exterior of my house. They also installed patio pavers in my back yard. I have received many complements on the unique design and plantings around my home. I was surprised at how they were able to get as much work as they did, finished in a matter of a few days. Everyone on his crew was friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend Whalen Nursery and Landscaping for any job that you may be considering. From consultation and design to full installation, you will not be disappointed. I plan on having them back this season to do some lighting around my yard.
