Project went smoothly from start to finish. They worked with me to iron out all details prior to work starting and communication was excellent. They provided exactly what we agreed upon in the time he said and for the estimated cost. Arrived on time and worked hard each and every day. We are in love with the patio and would highly recommend Rich.

We called him and set an appointment time. He arrived on time, looked at our project, listened intently. He said he would get back with a price but he did not come back or call back. He just vanished. At least we did not loose any money.

The two-day project went very well. Mr. Bode and his team were punctual, courteous and professional. Because of the limited access to the backyard, the mulch had to be carted in with a wheelbarrow. They made many trips carrying the mulch from the truck to the slope, making this job labor intensive. The front and the backyard now look pretty and peaceful. All of the weeds and wild overgrowth are gone and the shrubs are nestled in the mulch. The garden wall is very attractive and adds interest as well as support for the slope.

Didn't go with them because the cost of their materials were much higher than the Versa-lock system we eventually chose. Mr. Bode explained that their block was superior (denser) and wouldn't leach lime. Digital photos they produced were neat, though not altogether realistic.

I called for an estimate and Richard Bode came out to the house. He took photographs and called within two days with the estimate. The following week the work was done. The project was completed in two days as Richard Bode had estimated. His crew worked quickly and very hard. They took special care to remove the azalea that I wanted to transplant. This plant was very old and very large. They also had to remove three other yews by hand since they were located in the area of the gas and water lines. The only glitch was caused by the municipal building inspector who required a change in the location of the yard drain before issuing the permit. Richard Bode was more than willing to comply and quickly made the change. The transformation to my front yard is quite dramatic. I am looking forward to the spring when the new plants will bloom and the front yard will have more color than it ever had before.

This Spring, we hired him to do the landscaping we had planned for the front porch we had installed last fall. I gave Richard my plant ideas and a sketch of where I wanted the items planted on the first Saturday in May - during his busy Spring season. He said he would get to it as soon as he could. Five days later, on Thursday, he shows up to do the work. He said he would have been there sooner, but he had problems locating the heavenly bamboo. Now that's fast! His work was very professional and we are very pleased with the results. So are the neighbors, as we've received many compliments on the quality and look of our new landscaping. THE WORK DONE BY RICHARD BODE AND HIS WORK CREW WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME, WERE POLITE, AND ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS. THEY ESTIMATED THE PROJECT WOULD TAKE 3 DAYS - AND IT DID. THE WORKMANSHIP IS VERY GOOD, AND WE'VE RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS ON HOW THE COLOR AND PAVING STONE MATCH OUR NEW FRONT PORCH, AS WELL AS HOW NICE THE PAVING STONES LOOK. RICHARD ALSO INSTALLED A CONDUIT UNDERNEATH THE WALKWAY, SO I CAN RUN AN ELECTRICAL LINE TO THAT SIDE WITHOUT DISTURBING THE PAVING STONES. BASED ON THIS PROJECT, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RICHARD BODE LANDSCAPING FOR ANY LANDSCAPING WORK.
