I called and left a voice mail for someone to call me back to set up an appointment. I was never contacted. I guess they have enough business. Don't bother calling - they don't need your work!

Paul was great. Showed up when he said and rearranged his schedule to be sure the HVAC guys had power when they needed it. Very professional and meticulous. Cleaned up wok area when done. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Bill Inks

All work was done professionally and on time. Scott and Paul started their days at 8:30 am and ended at 4:30 pm. They cleaned up after themselves on all projects. I will definitely use their services again. During the bad rain weather we had Paul came in to help vacuum water and left a dehumidifier for my use, and has followed up about all projects as well as the water problem.

Pricelight was great to work with during this process. We had them come give a quote on initially just rewiring the whole house and while the quote was high, we knew it was a big job and liked their professionalism and experience. Once the work began, they were very patient to explain everything to us and flexible in letting us add in additional work when we thought of changes that were needed to lighting and lighting placement. Paul and Scott were the main ones we interacted with and they were very helpful in giving advice on both lighting, switch and outlet placement throughout the home. It was very evident that they were experienced in their work and also cared to think through these pieces and not just go with the easiest options. We had recessed lighting put in a kitchen and living room and they worked with us to determine the number of lights and placement in each since we had no ideas other than wanting the recessed lighting. Overall, working with Pricelight was a great experience and we would absolutely choose them again if/when we need electrical work completed.

Very well. Paul and Scott were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They took their time and gave thought as to the best placement for the recessed lighting to be installed (in other words, did not just install the lights quickly in order to get the job done). I also had concerns regarding our microwave and wall oven possibly being on the same circuit. They investigated and found that they were on the same circuit (and should not be) along with discovering the installer of the wall oven did not use the correct connector. They will be coming back to correct these problems. I have no hesitation in hiring them again!

Outstanding. Work was completed on time, and they showed up on time. The communication was better than we had ever experienced. We felt as if we were their only customer while they were doing the work and nothing was overlooked or missed. When we asked for some extra work to be done while they were completing the original work, they were happy to oblige. We would highly recommend Pricelight Electric, and would not hesitate use them again, in fact we will be calling them to add some outside outlets in the near future. Recommend Pricelight to everyone. Rewiring a 110+ year old home is not an easy project. High quality work, communicated throughout the project, crew was on time and professional. Pricelight exceeded my expectations.

This was the second time I hired Paul and his team. Great experience and will hire them again for any future electrical needs.

We recently purchased a large 99 year old house that hadn't been electrically updated in a long long while. We knew going in that it was going to need a full rewire to get things up to code and Pricelight delivered. Pros: 1. They patch their own holes and will even texture it to approximately match your walls. No one else offered this and it was a huge time saver for me when it came to spot painting. 2. Great price, since they are a smaller shop they were able to offer a very competitive price. 3. Very friendly and professional. I never heard them curse or even talk about sensitive/ inappropriate subjects. As a father to very young children this was a nice touch. I know that some of the work they did was very frustrating and if you were not standing there looking at them you would not have known that that they were upset. This is an unusually rare quality that I’m not sure that even I can match. 4. The were able to adjust on the fly and add/remove things to the contract. 5. Moved things around to accommodate my tastes and preferences Cons: 1. As a smaller shop they simply could not get the job done as quickly as other companies and written proposals and start dates were also a bit slower. However, their price more than made up for it. 2. Rushed a bit at the end and forgot a few finishing touches such as cover plates, securing an outlet and removing string for running lines. They came back and fixed everything during inspection but they still managed to miss the one switch for texturing and the cover plate. I just fixed it myself and it took a whole 3 minutes. This was too minor an issue bring up with them especially since they patched everything else (this switch was in an odd spot and easy to miss). It would have taken me over a week to patch another company’s holes so I counted my blessing and moved on. 3. Ended up with some mismatched hardware (outlets and switches). Since I had a whole house rewire I expected to end up with all new switches and outlets but I still have a small grab bag of old stuff: 2 non-décor switches on my main stairs, 1 two prong outlet in my basement and one non-bubble outdoor outlet. Technically this is just odd not necessarily wrong since the contract states that they will replace hardware attached to the old nob and tube wiring. The items in question were newer than the rest of the hardware they replaced and were connected to newer wiring but not even remotely new enough to match everything else they put in. It’s just a little irksome since I mentioned multiple times that I wanted everything to match for cosmetic reasons. Luckily, I have both the skills and hardware necessary to remedy this on my own but this might have been more of an issue for someone else. Once again, it’s just a little annoying but not enough for me to complain to them since I can fix all of it in about an hour. Conclusion: As someone who knows a bit about electrical work I can say that everything that they did was necessary (or requested by me) and was well done. All of my complaints are very minor and they more than likely would have been addressed them if I had bothered to complain. I would absolutely plan to hire them again. In fact, I expect to have new estimate in my inbox any day now.

I recently used Pricelight for the first time to completely rewire a house of mine. I could not have been more pleased with the entire process. Paul and Scott were some of the most professional and friendly people I have ever worked with. This particular project was quite a challenge, and they were able to devise a solution for every situation. Paul was extremely punctual and responsive with his communication and detailed with his explanations. Their quality of work was exceptional, and they were genuinely concerned with the final outcome of the house. The care they put into the fixtures truly put the final touch on the house and pulled it together to make it feel like a home. I would absolutely recommend their services to anyone looking for a high-quality electrician.

My wife and I were very pleased with the whole process. Paul worked within our tight timeline to be sure the electrical service was upgraded in time for our separately scheduled HVAC installation and Scott showed up on time each day to complete the work. Scott was friendly and professional and always went out of his way to explain what he was working on, what he found, and to minimize the disruption of power in the house--which allowed me to keep working from home as he worked. Paul and Scott also handled all coordination with the power company (Duquesne) and the city inspector. Scott was helpful and flexible in working with the HVAC installation team as they determined the locations of the four units. The initial work was completed in early July and Pricelight offers a warranty on their work so when a minor issue came up recently with one of the breakers in the panel we emailed Paul, and Scott was back here within 48 hours to address the issue at no charge. We're new to Pittsburgh and are grateful to have found an electrician we can trust as soon as we arrived. Thanks to the other Angie's List members who helped us find them.

This company is BUSY because they are the real deal and are in demand! The had a project go a little longer then they expected before getting to me but when it was my time, they got the job done in the time allotment they estimated (even with the special project). My home was respected and even though I'm a 1st time home owner, even I could see the real quality of materials, work and straight through to the FINISHINGS! They're attitude was always professional and were never too busy to explain one of millions of questions I had. Their costs are right on the $$$ and won't leave you wondering what you paid for. They were surgeons not butchers when it came to the ins-n-outs of my homes walls. We were buying our first home which happened to be a much older home. There were some fairly significant electrical issues found in the basement and kitchen during the inspection so we reached out to Paul to get an estimate as we entered final negotiations.. Knowing that we were on a timeline, Paul personally came out and did the estimate himself. He was very thorough and even took the time to educate me on things to look out for as the home is 90 years old. When we needed to get the estimate back ASAP, Paul was incredibly responsive and got us everything we needed as we entered final negotiations on the house. After we closed, scheduling was quick and easy and the Pricelight team showed up on time and ready to work. The team was clean, professional and worked quickly; however, they always took time out of their work to explain different things to us and answered any questions we had. Even when we added a few minor projects to the work, the Pricelight team took it in stride and fished the work on time. I would highly recommend Paul and his group to anyone needing electrical work in Pittsburgh. We plan to use them again for some other work soon.

They worked efficiently and effectively and kept the house clean even though it was raining and they had to stand in a muddy flower bed when working outside.

It went very well. The crew was on time, professional, & even cleaned up after themselves better than I could have done. They also took care of contacting the electric co. & getting the inspectors etc. I did not have to do a single thing - which is very unusual.

Called with plenty of notice offering to reschedule since time was going to be much later than expected. Clean, efficient and thoughtful. Will call again and recommend to others. This was the fourth Angie's list company I contacted but had the best price and quickest availability.
