It went very well. They came out and fixed it in 10 minutes and that was it. It was a one-man job. Everything turned out to my liking.

Mike was punctual and very professional. He did the job with lightning speed. Seems like a really good guy and I would use him again.

He came out last month and charged $175. He repaired a broken spring in the garage door. He came out on Sunday and looked it over and he got the spring, brought it in and repaired it. It worked extremely well. He helped me get my car out of the garage. I couldn't open my garage door since the spring got broken. I would definitely use him again.

Technician arrived on time, lubricated the garage door opener, and when asked, explained how much life is left of both garage door and opener (both are very old). He was very courteous and explained everything well and answered all my questions. All went very well.

Mr. Yeager was very professional and quite helpful. One garage coil had broken just before the Memorial Holiday weekend and he came the same day to open the small garage to get out my car. Both coils had to be special ordered and he returned Tuesday to complete the job. I cannot tell you how much I appreciate his help. L.F.

Everything went great! I purchased an Angie's List special. Mike, the owner of McMurray Garage Doors contacted me immediately and we set up a time for him to do the work. He was so obliging and worked around my work schedule which I greatly appreciated. Mike showed up on time and determined that I needed new pulleys on the door. He offered to come on Saturday since he did not have the size needed on his truck, but we agreed he would come the following Monday instead. He showed up right on time and had the parts to be replaced and had them replaced and the special performed in no time. Mike only charged me additionally for the parts to be replaced - not for the labor over and above the special I had purchased. He also advised me that I did not have to have him come every year unless there was a problem and showed me how to do maintenance on the garage door to keep it running smoothly. Mike was one of the nicest people and very helpful and professional. I would recommend him highly and intend to do so to all of my neighbors and friends in this area.

He came out in the evening to fix our garage door. We were on a tight time frame and needed help asap. Because he was able to help us out so fast we can close on our house today!

I had heard a loud bang similar to a gun shot and wondered what went wrong in my house. When I attempted to leave my garage later in the day, I found that my garage door wouldn't open more than a few feet and my garage door opener reported an error message. I tried to open the door manually to no avail. After using the internet to investigate the potential problem of a broken spring, I came straight to Angie's List to find a service person. I chose McMurray Garage Doors because they had great reviews on Angie's List and they are local to me. I called their phone number and talked directly with Mike. No voicemails! I told him what had happened and he asked me for some information about the spring assembly. He told me that he didn't think that he had the item in stock, so it needed to be picked up from the warehouse and it would be a few days. Mike also told me that he was in the area, so he was able to stop by my house within 30 minutes of the phone call. His initial suspicions were confirmed and it was a broken spring. He didn't recommend replacing the assembly with the same unit our builder originally used because it was known to fail within 8-10 years. Instead he recommended a slightly more expensive assembly that should last twice as long. He said that he wouldn't be able to repair it until a few days later. I told him that was fine, but I needed it to be an afternoon appointment. As a bonus, he was able to lift my garage door so I could back my car out of the garage. Two days later, he promptly arrived at 1 pm ready to install the new springs and new assembly. He allowed my 6 year old son to watch him work & quickly had everything new installed in less than 1.5 hours. He also showed us where the original spring had broken and how the original spring assembly was put together. My only complaint was that the actual price was a little higher than the estimate he gave me two days prior, but that could be because he also installed a slide lock for the door as well. I'm willing to overlook any complaints since I didn't have to play phone tag, it was quickly installed and he was prompt and courteous. I would highly recommend Mike and McMurray Garage Doors, but hopefully we won't need his services again for quite a while!

Mike showed up on time, was professional, knowledgeable, and polite. He did everything he needed to do to resolve my issues, and charged a fair price. All that I can ask for in a contractor or service person.

Mike arrived very promptly and we were surprised to learn that he works alone. However, I can see why now. He was very efficient and had the whole job done in about 6 hours. No small task given that the doors that he removed were very old and in very bad condition. He has obviously had a lot of experience and I am so glad that we picked him. He had everything working perfectly and spent time with my husband instructing him in the care and operation of the new equipment. We are absolutely thrilled with the quality of work that was done and the value that we received for our money. He told us when he gave us our free estimate that he would not be undersold and he was correct. I don't believe that anyone else could have done such a fine job.

Owner was on time. Work was done well and everything was explained to me. This was a definite upgrade from what I had and I am very happy with it. I now have a garage door with a safety feature so no one gets stuck in the door. I have a working light that stays on for a time to allow me to gather things before going into the home; I also have a new manual line in case something happens to the motor.

Mike did a good job for us. This was a challenging project and he really hung in there and in the end everything worked out well. I would without a doubt recommend him. He is an honest and nice person and I hope he can take care of our future servicing needs. Thank you.

Mike gave me an estimate over the phone and we set a date and time. He arrived on time. He was courteous and competent. The job was done in a reasonable time and he also lubricated the rollers on the door. When he was finished he pointed out all the features and explained how to use the remote and keypad and how to reprogram them if desired.Then he had me test all the features. He took all the packaging and the old opener with him. The price was exactly what he had quoted. Everything works great I am very pleased.

Mike showed up early for the appointment (how often do you see this happen!) He was professional and personable. Did a fabulous job and charged a very fair price....we would definitely have him again and would recommend him to our friends.

I called Mike on June 26th to come to give us a free estimate for two new garage doors. He returned my call and we made an appointment for the following day. Mike brought some sample panels and we discussed the type of doors we wanted. He gave us an estimate and we scheduled the work for July 8th. Mike came on July 8th and installed both new doors but was unable to complete the job because one of the doors would not close properly due to problems with the light sensor and the handles at the top of the door. Mike came the next day and installed new handles on both doors. He also put up a digital pad on the wall outside and helped program the code. For some reason my old remote would not work for one of the doors. Mike kept trying but it just wouldn't respond. He gave me a new remote and made sure it opened the door. Mike carefully tested the doors. He hauled away the old doors and cleaned up thoroughly. I would definitely use his services again. The doors look great!

Everything went well. Mike was very professional and didn't mind me hanging out in the garage asking all sorts of questions. He showed up when he said he would be there, or we got a call in advance if he was tied up elsewhere and would be late. The work was done when he said he would be done, and the garage door opener works like a champ! We've had several different companies come out to repair our garage door over the years, but we will only use McMurray Garage Door in the future! Employees from the other companies "had to talk to their manager and would get back to us" and never came back, but working with Mike was a welcome change - he's the owner and he stands by his word. My only complaint is that when I told him I had a 5% off coupon from Angie's List he said that was only for service calls, even though that fact was never mentioned anywhere on the coupon. It would have been nice to save the $20 - not everyone who lives in 15241 is a gazillionaire.

Ron was punctual, opened the garage door, took the lock apart and tightened every thing up.

Mike was on time and got the job done quickly. He was also helpful with my door keypad which wasn't part of the service. Would highly recommend Mike and McMurray Garage Doors!

Our garage door made a horrendous noise when opened or closed. You weren't sure if it was going to come off the springs and knock you down or open!!! Mike McMurray from McMurray Garage Door answered my call and his wife confirmed an appointment that evening. We only had a very narrow window of opportunity for service and Mike fit us in. When he came he examined the door, which is about 4 years old. The problem was solved with a $6 can of garage door lubricant! My husband swears he was told to never lubricate the rollers! It was an expensive laugh, BUT... Mike could have told us anything and we would have probably gone with it. My engineer hubby had no clue! Mike got out his can and oiled up the rollers and we were fixed. An honest guy.... how wonderful. I would recommend him 100%. He helped us out with a quick appointment and then fixed the problem. I certainly hope we can continue to find such reputable contractors. This fellow was great!

When I emailed to schedule an appointment, Mike called me back the same day. I told him about an additional problem with the cable disconnected from the wheel. He was booked at that time, but was able to schedule an appointment between Noon and 2pm the following week. He arrived at 1:45 pm and I showed him the problem. It took him about 10 minutes to analyze and fix the cable by putting it back on the track. Additionally, he made a slight adjustment to the spring on the door to prevent the cable from coming loose again. He then replaced the wheels in the garage door track. I asked what I owed him for the additional work and he said that since he was already here it would be an additional $20.00. I was extremely pleased not only with the quality of work, but with his generosity to an older woman on a fixed income. I will certainly recommend him to friends and family and will use him again when I need a new garage door.

They did an excellent job. They came out within a few days.

Mike answered the phone FIRST TIME I called. Stopped by later that afternoon to see what the problem was. Came back the next day and installed the new garage door opener. Very professional. Came at the agreed upon time. And was reasonable on the price. First rate..Highly Recommended...
