I called Master Brush based on reviews here and on the personal recommendation of a neighbor. Mr. Webber called back promptly, and on learning that I needed exterior painting done, explained that they were completely booked for the rest of the season. He offered to put me on the list for spring, which I am considering. He was professional, polite, explained their schedule for exterior painting--and that they work year-round on interior jobs (something else I'm considering). I very much appreciated the quick response and professionalism.

Overall the work done was first rate. Mr. Webber has an experienced crew. It is very obvious that they know what they are doing. They first cleared all our furniture off our deck and then carefully put down tarps underneath the deck. A lot of time and effort was spent scrapping and sanding before applying the wood stain. The finished product looks great. We have lived in our house for 32 years and the deck looks better than it has ever looked.

Henry and his crew were totally professional and polite. They did a great job,and will be our painters from now on. Couldn't be more pleased.

I feel it is important to update my review. Unfortunately I am learning as time goes by the poor the quality of work done. I had a few concerns at the time of the job and they were addressed at that time. However, things have just gotten worse over time. Initially the house looked great. That didn't last. As each year had gone by the work done has deteriorated. I am learning that there were short cuts taken....cleaning, sanding, calking, etc. Apparently they only did calking where it looked like it was needed and didn't calk the whole house. They just painted over the existing calk that is now showing age. Also, stain is peeling everywhere on the cedar boards. This is very upsetting and should not be happening less than three years from a fresh paint job. Henry seems like a nice guy so I want to give him the benefit of doubt and assume he was unaware of his workers taking short cuts. I am now looking for a new painter. Over $4000 down the drain!

We had another excellent experience with Master Brush. They were prompt and courteous and did a wonderful job. They did some interior painting for us last winter and we were very happy to use them for our exterior work. We highly recommend their services.

This is our 2nd time using Master Brush Painting. We used them years ago and kept their information due to the wonderful job that they did the first time. We actually seen Henry about 2-3 years after their first time painting our house and he remembered us. What a great feeling. In today's world we are all so busy and meet so many people, to have him remember us was heart warming to know that he's such a wonderful business man. We had Master Brush come out the second time to do more painting and stain our newly installed windows. The crew that comes in are so nice, professional and considerate of your belongings. I'm still in amazement that when I came home from work that they 4 rooms were done & all windows had two/three coats of stain on them. We highly recommend that you use Master Brush. I know I'll be calling them for a third time when I need more painting work done!

We have used Masterbrush twice. Both times the quote was accurate, the service was timely, professional and without issue. However, this time was even more pleasing - the work that was supposed to be done in 2 days was done in 1 day. Henry and his team are amazing and I can not imagine ever using another painter!

I was very pleased with the service and results that Master Brush provided. Henry and his crew were extremely professional arriving on time and completing in 2 days as expected. The family room required 2 extra coats of paint to cover the dark walnut paneling and Henry completed that at no extra charge. Two other companies came to my house to determine an estimate but only 1 actually sent me one. The second company never even bothered to provide the estimate even though the representative was here for quite some time. The other estimate that I did get was over three times more than Henry's estimate. (I assume they thought I was stupid!!) I already have scheduled to have the exterior of my home painted by Master Brush. I would definitely recommend using them.

Excellent experience. Henry was professional and friendly. His four man crew was prompt, efficient and professional. It was worth the cost.

Henry and his crew arrived on time and got right to work and finished in record time. The crew was a pleasure to have in my home. We were a little nervous about painting our grasspapered living room and were delighted with the result. Just the right texture and the change in the room is amazing! The crew left the work area in excellent condition. Our experience was perfect!

It went very well. They were professional and accommodating and did a great job. They were very fast and did not object when we added some extras, but went ahead and finished everything up in just two days. We were very pleased and will definitely use them again.

His name was Henry Weber. He was very good. We spoke to 4 or 5 companies. He was not the cheapest but he had a crew and we liked his personality. We kind of went with our gut in choosing him. It wasn't the cheapest but they did everything so the value was good.

MasterBrush was punctual and professional. The job was performed in one day (small home) and seemed to be extremely well organized. I don't think Henry ever left the job site--he had about five painters completing the job--and I appreciated his attention to the job and to all of the little details. We will definitely use him in the future for any painting jobs that may arise.

Henry apparently lost my contact information that he took the first time he called me back and didn't remember who I was the second time I called. He took my information again and did not call back as soon as he said he would to set up an appointment. Eventually, he came to my home to give an estimate on 9/16/11. He looked at everything-it was a small job-I had told him that over the phone. He said I would have the estimate from him in "a few days." It is now 10/13/11 and I haven't heard from him since-I called him a couple times in case there was a legitimate reason he did not send an estimate-I left messages asking him to let me know if he could or could not do the job. As I stated, he never contacted me again. My time is just as valuable as Henry's-he just didn't act like it! In response to Henry's reply-if this is allowed on Angie's List-it was a painting repair estimate that I originally asked for. I added the fixtures because it would make the job larger, and thus more likely that Henry would accept the job. Painters typically reinstall fixtures, so I asked if he could add that to the painting work that I wanted. YES, I WANTED PAINTING WORK DONE! He did not say there would be any problem with installing a toilet paper holder and tightening another one, plus reattaching the doorstop. He did not tell me to get a handyman and I did not "badmouth" the previous painter; the problem with the painting was water damage that I pointed out to Henry. As mentioned, he said he would get me an estimate, but never did. Henry did not need to insult me so personally and viciously. I believe his unprofessional response verifies the ratings I gave him and lends legitimacy to my report.

I was very pleased with them. They did it very fast, did some extra things for us like hang shutters, they were clean, they were polite, and great to interact with. I would definitely recommend them.

Henry and his team did a great job painting the exterior of our house. The price was fair (I obtained several bids) and the work done very quickly (including starting the job on time). Henry and his team took the time to discuss with me what they were doing and why, and kept the job-site quite clean. This was the second time that we have used this company (interior painting previously). I will use them again, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to others.

Over a series of 3 afternoons from noon-5p Henry's team completed this job, working past their normal end time to do so. This was very considerate of Henry because, as I am a nightshift nurse and must sleep in the morning, Henry and his team worked this nontraditional schedule in the afternoon summer heat to allow me to get my rest in the morning between shifts. This was something others painters refused to do so I am very grateful. Henry has a great personality, he is liked my his employees, they work together well, and he was very easy for me to work with. One color wasn't quite right so Henry had the correct color matched, custom-mixed, and repainted the previously-painted surfaces without complaint or extra charge. Henry was punctual, neat, professional, polite. At the end of the job Henry and I did a walkaround and everything that needed a touchup got addressed til the job was done to my satisfaction. I have quite a few pets at my home and we are all on a nightshift schedule. Henry's consideration for my schedule made this experience nontraumatic for myself and pets. Henry and his team's workmanship is excellent. It's a blessing to have a contractor working at your home that you don't need to watch over or worry about. I would definitely recommend Henry Weber, owner of Master Brush, to everyone.

The base coat and top coat were applied in two days by a 4-5 man very professional crew. The work was performed neatly, the crew cleaned-up the area and neatly stacked their ladders when leaving the first night,and bagged all waste and thoroughly cleaned-up when the job was finished. Henry Webber carefully checked the work of his crew throughout the two days and, in at least one instance, pointed-out to the least-experienced member of the crew an area that had not been done properly and had to be redone. In addition, the crew repaired an area where a portion of molding had to be replaced and cleaned-up and painted a wrought iron hand rail in the back yard at no additional cost. In addition, after the job was finished and the paint had dried for a couple of days, I called Mr. Webber to inform him that we had difficulty closing and locking one of the exterior doors. He arrived at the house the next day and adjusted the door so that locking was no longer a problem. I highly recommend Master Brush Painting and plan to utilize their services again in the future.

Other the the points I mentioned the work was acceptable.

Henry Webber, the owner of Master Brush, is very professional and easy to work with. He provided an estimate that was on the low end of 4 bids within 2 days of reviewing the job, and was cognizent of my specific needs: that the work, while expected to be high quality, was also for a property that was being prepared to be sold. That positively affected his recommendations for coloring, finish and scheduling. He worked with me on the scheduling. Though he had to delay the start of the work, he kept me closely informed, and provided options. He provided recommendations on colors and was very flexible in moving them around and adding another color at the last minute. His team's prep work is good, they're very clean, and did not leave any paint marks on any surfaces that shouldn't have them. However, there were two very small spots that they missed (white-on-white). While I'd expect them to catch that, overall, for this job it's not a concern as other touch up work will be required (for reasons outside of their control). Henry also made it clear, that if necessary, he'd provide the necessary touchup. The final product turned out quite well. I'm sure I'll be using them again in the future and highly recommend them.

Did not use even though they had done great work for us before. Took a little long to get the estimate to us, so we selected another company. That company got back to us that evening and have already completed the work. Master Brush's work is very good, but the initial process was a little slow. Got the impression that owner was much more interested in "larger" jobs.

I used them before and they were actually well rated on the list. I spent $1700 on that work. They were always very good. My interaction with them was good. They or I had to reschedule for some reason and it actually took us very long to get the work done, but we were communicating back and forth, so they were very good at communicating. I would tell others that they were extremely cost competitive and very professional and quick.

The gable end of my house is high enough up that I did not want to do it myself, and it needed a redo after about 12 years since its last paint job. I called Henry Webber at Masterbrush earlier in the summer (about June) and asked him to give me a bid, which he promptly did. I was not in a hurry to get the job done and told him to just schedule it whenever it was convenient for his crew. This took several months but again, no hurry on my part. They did the job in one day in October and it looks terrific. Even better, I didn't have to do it!

Initially we were pleased, however paint began peeling in 3 seasons. After attempting to patch myself, due to the amount of peeling (the paint was coming off in sheets) and the location (our home has a walk-out basement, so 3 stories high in back and on a slope on the sides), I was unable to keep up. The boro cited us twice for poor maintenance while we attempted to resolve. Henry was initially unresponsive to our requests to come back and investigate. We had to continue to call and call and call again. He offered to take a sample and have it reviewed, but no review was ever done. In the end, Master Brush's best offer was to repaint for approximately an additional $7,000, suggesting that the peeling was not due to poor prep but simply due to moisture and old paint. (See submission on Diamond painting). We hired a different painter who pointed out several areas where Master Brush failed to properly prep.

They painted every inch of the house. They were professional. The estimate that they quoted me was spot on. They got here early and got the work done on time. They basically delivered everything and more than what they promised me. They were a really great company to work with. They are very honest and capable. They are a family owned and operated company. They were great people and did great work. I had originally hired another painter and that guy changed the quote once he got back to my house to do the work. So I fired that guy and I had two days to find a new painter. I had received a quote from Master Brush Painting and their quote was double than the original guy. However, I went with them since they were able to come in and do the work. They also shifted some jobs around to accommodate coming to my house in order to get the work done in two days. It was amazing. The quality of their work was awesome. They were probably expensive than most people, but it was well worth it. I would definitely use their services in the future too. I have them in my phone, actually.
