I contacted Henry in August to perform the above services. He stated that he could get to it at the end of September if the weather held out. A day or two later he viewed the property and gave me an estimate of $6,920 for all three buildings. I accepted the bid and he contacted me on 9/22 to advise that he was working nearby and could begin work the following day. He and his 6 man crew showed up the following day and immediately began working. All appeared to be experienced painters and did a great job of making sure everything was done correctly. The job was satisfactorily completed on the following day. Henry was cordial and very easy to work with. Highly recommended.

MasterBrush is worth the wait. They are very busy and now I know why! The quality of the work was incredible and I am a perfectionist. Our home is brick but has a two story covered entry and is 3 stories depending on the elevation with quite a bit of wood trim. They arrived exactly when they said and in a matter of 2 days, 6 painters did it all! This would have taken me weeks and not nearly as good. They even covered the landscape gravel and were very thorough with cleaning up. Aside from a few ladders, and the first coat of paint you would have no idea they were even there after the first day. Great attention to detail in prepping the surfaces and making sure everything was sealed. The price included top quality Sherwin-Williams paint. I would highly recommend them. They will definitely be the first we call when we need interior painting done.

The 6 men arrived at 8 a.m and left at 3p.m. The boss worked only part of the time. He dealt with an unexpected opening about 2ft by 2ft. in the dry wall after a mirror was removed by offering to replace the missing drywall, which he said would be an extra $80.00 Then he left for about an hour and returned with the materials. The job he did was just ok., but it was a relief to me to have the job done. If he had looked over the job done in the small bathroom, he would've seen the large number of spots where some paint had rolled and left marks on the wall. They did part of the area that I pointed out, but not another part. As it was, I had to face 6 men who had cleaned up everything and had their coats on and were ready to leave when I started to look everything over. They responded to some of the things I mentioned, but the pressure was on me to let them go. I think really good painters would have looked over their work as it was going on to fix the paint spills before they declare the job finished. The boss has a gift for promising a lot is included when he comes to look over a job,but since it's not written down, or signed, I was just left with my notes and my memory. At the end, since I was not happy with the job, he said he wouldn't charge the money I owed him for the dry wall he'd filled in. I hired someone else to do the stuff that hadn't been done, and used the money that way. I would've preferred that the painters take care of it at the time, since I had new wall to wall carpeting installed a couple of days after the paint job. After that, I spent the money he had "saved" me by hiring someone to do the things Master Brush had left undone. When I get the outside of the house painted, I will insist on getting references, which the Master Brush owner declined to provide.

The crew showed up on time and worked very hard - no bad language,very polite. You could tell they all were very comfortable working with each other. Very professional. Used tarps and were very respectful of our property. Did a wonderful paint job - our house looks like new. Cleaned up everything - left no mess whatsoever. We are very satisfied and would recommend Henry Webber (owner of Master Brush, Inc.) to everyone.

Seven painters worked full time for five days to complete the job. The owner clearly described what was going on. The job was performed very well, as was the cleanup.

The owner of the company is fantastic and he and his crew work really hard and really fast. On the other hand, the work could be a bit better. They also don’t do anything at all to prepare the surface to be painted. For instance, they came out to do the work on a muddy day, and they actually just painted over the mud that was tracked on the floorboards they were painting! The price was the best, though, which was the primary reason I hired them.

Their work ethic is fantastic and they work very quickly. Perhaps too quickly, though, because I believe the quality could be a little better.

I recommended them to someone else and they did her house. The job went excellent. The house had not been painted in 10 years so it was in desperate need. It needed, the paint was peeling, they had to do a lot of prep work. They did an excellent job, I was very happy with them. They were very punctual. They were here when they said they were going to be. They finished early because it was in the 95 degree range that week. There was a crew of 7 or 8 guys show up. They had it done in 2 days which was amazing. They were excellent, professional and got the job done on time. They were reasonably priced.

Master Brush arrived on time with a very professional crew of 6. They applied two coats to everything and were in and out in under 6 hours. The first thing they did was to cover everything with clean tarps. Then the crew proceeded to work very efficiently from patching holes, to priming, to masking, to painting. Excellent quality. They left the area as clean as they had found it. Henry, the owner, was very helpful in color and paint selection and made some recommendations about the paint that really made sense and we followed. We have used a number of different painters and Master Brush was the best by far. We will definitely call them for our next painting needs.

Fantastic! The house turned out beautifully and we have received so many wonderful comments from both friends and strangers who, while passing by, just stop to say what a good job my painters did! This was my first time using Master Brush Painting and we would definitely use them again. Henry Webber replied quickly to my initial call to come out for an estimate. He showed up when promised and sent me his bid in a timely manner. His pricing was fair. We decided to hire him based on his demeanor upon meeting with him, his price and his reviews. We own a three story house built in the late 1800s and Henry was able to help us fine tune our color selections (four) and where to use each color on the house. He and his crew arrived on time the first day and got right to work. Henry himself was here a good portion of every day. He would always be here first thing in the morning and walk around the house and go over the plan for the day with each painter. Each and every crew member was professional and courteous. Henry took the time to answer all my questions and go over color placement on the house, trim, windows and doors daily. All of their equipment and materials were cleaned up at the end of each work day and put neatly in the garage. The entire job lasted 7 business days. Thank you Master Brush! We really appreciate your hard work.

It went perfectly. They came in as soon as our deck and patio were completed and did a wonderful job. They were flexible with the timing which was important to us. We have used them twice before and have never been disappointed. I'm sure we will use them again.

They were very professional and easy to work with. We have used them at least two other times and have always been very pleased with their service and quality of work. We needed them to come right in as soon as our deck and patio were completed and that is exactly what they did. They did a great job and were able to get everything done in a very timely manner. Henry was very professional through the whole process. I sent him several pictures of my house showing the areas needed for painting. He stopped by to see the house on his own time. He then made several attempts at contacting me (my fault for being hard to reach) to discuss the proposal, which was very competitive over the others. When his crew arrived promptly on time the first day, we walked around the house to review all the areas for work. His crew was very friendly and efficient. They took great care with putting drops in their area of work and cleaning away the removed paint. On the second day we reviewed the progress and a couple of minor questions. At the end, the house looks great with no mess to clean up. The paint lines are clean, and looking closely you can tell they paid attention to detail. Could not be happier with the experience.

Work was done professionally and quickly with minimal disruption.

I needed the entire interior of a 46 year old home painted. While the kitchen had been redone nicely 23 years ago, the rest of the house had been decorated in the late 60s/early 70s... Henry and his crew were wonderful. The estimate was very competitive, Henry mixed up an off-white to match the living and dining rooms and then used that throughout the house. They showed up on time, retouched what I asked, had time to do a couple of things not in the original estimate that I added on, and were fine to come back to complete some pocket doors that had to be painted later due to needing to be trimmed and fixed separately the following week. The house looks wonderful! When the weather cooperates I'll be having Masterbrush back to touch up the exterior.

Mr. Weber returned my call promptly and all though I was difficult to get a hold of, we had no problems with having him come and see the project and set a date and time. This is a house that we moved out of last year and have been trying to fix up to put on the market. His crew were very nice and friendly and fast! They arrived promptly and did a wonderful job. We also had an Electrician out to work on the property and Masterbrush worked with them to allow access so both could finish in a timely manner. The master bathroom had several layers of wallpaper that they were able to remove in a short time. Even the discovery of some damaged wall that needed plastering didn't faze these guys - only a small extra cost and they had it repaired and painted before lunch! My only regret is that I didn't hire Masterbrush earlier!

Overall our experience with Master Brush was great. I had one estimate from an individual and wanted to get a second so I called Henry from Master Brush. They were very prompt and courteous and were willing to come out on a Sunday to give an estimate. I had them come the next day. Mark took notes and said they would call back and provide a quote that night. They did and it was around $1200 and 2 days of work. To me, the deal was great given the size of the rooms, amount of trim work on the windows/baseboards/closets, and the state of the wallpaper (it would not come off). The other quote was much longer in duration and that was not an option for us. They came on time and ready to go for day 1 of wallpaper removal. Henry called me at the end of the day to inform me they got the paper off, but because of the way it was mounted, it caused some damage to the underlying plaster. He wanted to do the job right so he said he had to add an extra day to smooth out the walls. I had no issue with that. The extra work only cost me $200. They came and did the plastering as well and called at the end of that day. During this process our carpet and furniture received no dust or dripping from the plaster. Henry's team cleaned was neat and cleaned up well. The walls were smoothed out perfectly. We scheduled the paint day and I provided the paint color we wanted (He uses Shermin Williams paints). He and his crew came out on time as usual and painted two coats of paint on the wall and a single coat on the ceiling as well. The paint job was perfect with minimal blemishes. We settled up and the job was complete. It is also good to note that our dog had to be in the house the same time Master Brush was here and they did a great job with her. They even gave her a few pats on her head and talked to her while here. Again, overall very good experience and will work with them again.

Mr. Weber came out and gave me an estimate. He was very helpful in picking particular colors and how to do the trim work. He said it would probably be the end of November before he could get to me because he was painting outdoors at that time. When it rained for several days he called and asked if he and his crew could come early. They arrived the following day, on time and began moving furniture and putting down their tarps. They finished the entire job in about 6 hours. I was very impressed with the quality of work and the no nonsense approach the entire crew showed in the job they did. I found a few spots that they had tried to clean up and that were caused by dripping of the cleaned out paint buckets and brushes. I called Mr. Weber and he said he would come take care of any problems I had. He thanked me for giving him the opportunity to take care of the problem. He has since come back and fixed everything to my satisfaction. I Iove it!

Painters arrived at 8am on Monday, 5 man crew, started work immediately; completed entire job and cleaned up by Tuesday afternoon.; excellent job by professionals

We felt the estimate was fair, and we liked Mr. Webber's demeanor and the way that he described the care that would be taken in scraping off the old paint and preparing the surface for painting. Unfortunately, it did not appear that the same care was taken in practice. Mr. Webber didn't spend much time at the site (usually at the very beginning or end of the work day), and, perhaps, he needs to keep a more watchful eye on his employees, because it did not seem to me that the surfaces were not properly prepped as he had described. Overall, the job was good, and he did an outstanding job of matching the paint colors to the existing colors of the house; however, there were a few spots that were not scraped and prepped well. I pointed out some spots, and he had someone re-do them. One particular area still didn't look great. I suspect that because the areas weren't prepped well enough that the paint won't last 5-8 years. It's been two years and the paint is already starting to crack in a few spots on the house and especially on the railings. Just a few days after the job was complete, the area around one window that had been patched and painted had already started to crack and flake away. I emailed Mr. Webber and he said that he would come out and take a look at it. He came by the house promptly and told me that it would be at least 5-10 days before someone could come out and fix it (it was near the end of the season and I'm sure they were rushing to finish up their outdoor projects). After 13 business days, I sent a follow-up email reminding him about the problem. He didn't respond, so I emailed again. At this point it was almost a month since my initial email. He did send someone out to fix it. Although it initially held up, I did eventually have to replace the window sash. The sash wasn't in great shape when they initially patched and painted it, so my eventually replacing it was not a direct consequence of the painting job. The crew was polite and professional and they cleaned up well. However, some of the workers smoked heavily, which made things unpleasant for me (a non-smoker) when I had to keep the windows open all day. I don't know that I would trust them to paint my interior walls, since attention to detail and careful preparation are so important inside the house. I would consider having them paint the exterior again if the estimate was competitive and the paint job lasts at least 5-6 years. However, I find some of Mr. Webber's responses to the posts on Angie's List discouraging and would encourage him going forward to respond more professionally to customers' feedback. Response to post: one attempt was made to repair the window sash after the paint job was complete. As I stated previously, the window sash was not in pristine condition at the time. However, I think the crew could have done a better job of repairing it. Also, since it started to flake and disintegrate within a couple days of being fixed, having someone come out to repair it is not fixing it "for free." Rather, it's part of the warranty . I waited to write a review so that I would be able to see how the paint job would hold up over time. Too often people write a review too soon after they have work done. I also want to address one other point. While I'm sure some of the people on the crew have a lot of experience, the crew that was at my house did not have 30 years of experience each, as at least one of them looked to be in his 20's or early 30's.

I found Henry on Angie's list. His estimate was prompt and very reasonable. I have a very large and difficult house to paint with many windows and chimneys and peaks that require 60' ladders. And my wife and I are very fussy. Henry and his large crew completed the job in one week and we are very satisfied with the result. He even returned 4 weeks later to do some additional detail work. From now on,Henry's the only painter I'll ever call.

We called this company to get an estimate but they never returned the phone call. Just wondering how they get customers if they do not return phone calls. I think a week is sufficient time to wait for a call back. I am not a crack pot and my time is valuable as well.
