Master Brush Painting Inc

I had a previously bad experience where the paint on my house was not done properly and I called Master Brush to fix it up and re-do the job. They were very professional, most of the time dealing directly with the owner. I felt that he was very responsive and easily answered all of my questions. They worked easily with any changes I decided I wanted to make as well. They sent a large crew out and completed the job in only 3 1/2 days.

Henry was very timely in responding to all inquiries. He was extremely cooperative in meeting the time constraints that we had to place on the painting due to some other remodeling projects that we were involved with. The crew arrived at the designated time and were very professional throughout. The job was completed quickly and the cleanup was thorough. Henry was also very helpful in providing referrals to other contractors for cleaning our stone fireplace and brass door fixtures.

I originally contacted Master Brush last spring, and there were numerous, mostly weather-related delays that pushed the job back to September. I suspect that's the nature of the exterior painting business, though. While I was waiting for the work, Mr. Webber returned my calls without fail, although sometimes it took a while to get back to me. Once started, the scraping, priming, caulking and painting was done thoroughly and neatly. The window headers and sills were not originally included in the job, but they were done at no additional cost when I inquired about them. Special attention was paid to damaged areas. I'll definitely consider Master Brush when I'm ready to have larger jobs done- and keep my fingers crossed for good weather.

We have nothing but good things to say about Master Brush, Henry Webber and his crew. He helped me in the decision making process regarding colors with much patience and the work was done efficiently and with a great amount of detail. Henry was an excellent manager of this process and his people. We have had many many compliments on our home.

I had trouble getting a hold of them, but they finally called me back and said that they were too booked up to take any new customers. I ll keep their name and try and work with them later in the year.

Excellent job. Henry Webber, the company owner, was exceedingly helpful throughout the project. He is pleasant, professional, and easy to work with. Mr. Webber suggested the color scheme for the house and how best to accent the work, answered all my questions, and supervised the entire project. The painting crew was professional--they did a nice job and were efficient, careful, polite, and quiet. When the project was complete, everything was cleaned up, so that there was nothing that I needed to do. I had called the preceding summer for an estimate on the job. Mr. Webber provided the estimate, but made it clear that he might not be able to paint the house that summer due to his existing commitments. As it turned out, he was not able to do the job last summer, but called me at the beginning of his exterior painting season this year and assured me that my house would be one of his first jobs. The cost for the job was the one he quoted last summer.

Mr. Webber's ideas were wonderful, his work was impeccable, and because of the size, professionalism, and punctuality of his crew, the entire job took only a day and a half. When the painting was finished, the house looked better than I pictured it could and was the talk of the neighborhood for weeks afterwards (my neighbor half-joked that nobody was talking about her new windows anymore now that our house looked so great!). I would recommend him to anyone looking to have some painting done.

Excellent. Was easy to reach by phone to schedule. Arrived on time with a large crew, worked quickly, treated out house with respect, solved problems that arose, and did a good job cleaning up. We are going to use them again soon to paint our exterior.

This is the second time that we have used Master Brush. The first time was for exterior painting last summer. We have been very happy both times. Henry and his crew are neat and conscientious. They covered all of the floors and moved heavy furniture for us. We will definitely use Master Brush again.

They did an excellent job of removing the wallpaper & outstanding job of painting. However, they were not as careful about protecting some of the woodwork (staircase & trim) when wetting down the walls to remove the paper & painting, as I wish they had been. I am having to spend a great deal of time cleaning & polishing the wood because the water dried it out & took some of the finish off. They also left paint on some of the woodwork. After removing the paper, I was told that the job would cost $1,000 more because they had to apply a skim coat to even out the plaster. I feel like the job cost was fair; however, I wish that had been part of the estimate I was given before the job was started.

Henry was very responsive to my initial call for an estimate. When we agreed to the work he gave me an approximate date as to when he would be able to start, about 3 weeks out. Around 3 weeks later he called to firm up the date and let me know what I needed to do in advance of his arrival (choose paints, remove breakables, etc.) Once work began, Henry and his team completed a fair amount of work throughout our home in two and a half days. They were on time, efficient and did an excellent job. They planned the work in multiple rooms as to minimize disruption to our household, which was greatly appreciated.

Overall, we were relatively happy. There was a substantial amount of trim and we received several estimates, ultimately choosing Henry because he seemed the most knowledgeable and professional. My one big complaint is when I received his estimate we had a lengthy discussion about ensuring the durability of the paint over the stained trim. We have small children and it seemed that every painter we interviewed had a different opinion about the best way to paint over originally stained woodwork. I expressed to Henry I didn't want to pay over $5000 for a job that would need constant patching and repainting, and he assured me that the primer he would use would make the job extremely durable. That has not been the case - it's been 6 months since the job was completed and every time we knock into any of the trim the paint is scraped down to the stain and we have to repaint it. Still, we felt Henry and crew were kind and professional. Just be sure to make your expectations very clear to him.

They were speedy and on time and unobtrusive. They moved the big furniture out of the way. The two coats generally covered very well. The paint in the bathroom was a tomato red and I noticed a few places where it didn't cover completely, but I don't think it really is that noticeable to the casual looker. They were very neat and I only noticed tiny little splatters. Nothing was harmed. My only real complaints are that I lost something in the process of things being moved and that they didn't always check on which picture hangers could stay or be patched over. But, maybe I should have told them first.

The work was professional. They were on time and completed it in a timely manner. They did a great job.

Excellent! Crew arrived on time. Painting took a little over two days. Clean up was magnificent. The rooms looked like they did before the painting! No damage to any furniture, no mess at all.

They are the best outside painters I have ever used.

I contacted Mr. Webber, as I needed both the interior and exterior of my home painted. He came in with a bid that was in the middle of the other two bids I had received. He told me that he could get to the inside painting by the end of the next month, but would have to put me in the line up for the exterior because weather controls his time line there, which I understood. The time came closer that he said my interior painting could be done and I received no contact. I waited to see if he would let the date just pass by without contacting me; which he did. I decided then he lacked courtesy. But when two more months went by without so much as a word, I decided I didn't want him painting my home. When he finally called and I told him he should have called me. He told me I should have called him and that none of this was his fault. I prefer someone that is professional, takes responsibility and can say something more like, "I'm sorry we had a miscommunication", but he couldn't do this.

My overall experience was very positive. A small crew arrived on-time, were polite, informative, and friendly. They did excellent work and didnt waste any time. Despite the extreme heat, they worked as hard as anyone could and for as long as anyone could. My entire (small) house was painted in 3 days. For the work they did, the job was reasonably priced.

FOUND THEM TO BE VERY THOROUGH, EFFICIENT AND PROFESSIONAL. VERY PLEASED AND SATISFIED. PLAN ON HIRING THEM TO PAINT EXTERIOR OF HOUSE AS WELL.

The paint is coming off the wall. Any time you hit the wall, the paint will peal off. There were also complete areas that were missed. He said he put on primer and two coats in the new rooms and the existing room just had one coat. However, if he had done that, it wouldn't be pealing. I called him and told him about the pealing. He said he would come out and look and it, but he never did. He finally did come out to look at the work and eventually agreed it needed to be redone. He is the one who said that my family had scratched and banged it up. He failed to actually come back to repaint. I felt they just worked too fast.

The job took a day and a half. Shortly after leaving on the second day, I noticed some flaws in the repair work they did. I phoned and arrangements were made to fix it. A date was set and then I received a call the day the repair work was to be done, saying that they weren't able to make it because they had wrong directions for the job prior to mine, and it was too far away. A day scheduled off from work that was now wasted. We later agreed on another day (after trying to get confirmation for one week) to do the repairs. They came and made the repairs. That evening, I noticed the repaired work was worse than the initial flaws. When I phoned to get them back for a third time, I was spoken to in a manner that was unprofessional. Comments were made about me on a personal level. Prior to this unprofessional comment, we had agreed on a date to make the repairs for yet a third time, and I promptly hung up. They came a third time and unfortunately it is worse. I don't give a fourth chance.

Henry Webber is a professional;! He runs a top notch operation. He was on time, neat and his team is a well oiled machine. It was a pleasure working with them. We are extremely pleased. I am waiting on a written estimate for the house exterior.

We were very pleased with the work. We chose this company even though they gave the most expensive bid, because we felt they were the most professional and appropriate to do the best job. We are glad we did, and feel we definitely got our money's worth. In some rooms, more coats of paint were required than they had bid to do, but did not apply any additional charge. Henry answered our questions thoroughly. Highly recommended!

The arrived promptly as scheduled. I appreciated that they cleaned up afterwards & were pleasant to speak with. I was very please with this contractor. The work was done promptly with a minimum disruption to me. Most importantly, they prepped the surfaces thoroughly which improved the final product. I would call them again & certainly recommend them. Mr. Webber brought a large work crew & they were thus able to do the work quickly. The work was really first class.

They arrived on time, and the crew worked efficiently. The paint looks great. The only problem is that they left behind tape and dirt from the job when they folded tarps in the garage.
