Great service trying to fix a broken shower. Helped find the right part and arrived reasonably fast and even had to contend with the lack of a (tiled over) shut-off valve which required numerous trips up and down 2 flights of stairs to a basement master to turn water on and off! Still had a minor drip that night and came back to adjust valve handle the next day. Polite, competent, and reasonable. Would highly recommend. USC Dad

Hands down, they were the best HVAC company I have ever dealt with in my 35 years in the construction business. Jason and his crews were extremely professional in all our dealings. The first job was a totally new HVAC system in a difficult remodeling job. Jason helped design the job, gave me multiple options, provided competitive pricing, and completed the job in a neat and timely fashion. Jason was very flexible in meeting our difficult construction schedule. The second job was a new construction high-end home where he installed both the plumbing and HVAC systems. He and his team once again exceeded all my expectations. I was extremely pleased from start to finish with Kowalski Heating-Cooling- Plumbing. I had several companies come out to give me a proposal to replace and upgrade our existing Furnace and AC. Jason Kowalski (Owner) came out personally and was knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and took the time to explain all of my questions. He was able to put together a competitive proposal based on our needs and budget. Since our AC was low on refrigerant, he sent out a technician to give us a courtesy charge to get our old AC keeping us cool until the installation date. The technician who came out as well as both of the gentlemen who did the installation were professional, courteous and again went out of their way to answer all my questions and explain anything throughout the process. I would highly recommend Kowalski if you are looking to have any HVAC work done and at least consider them for a quote. Jill who works the front end of the office was wonderful to assist with scheduling and also answering our questions. I felt confident we had made the right choice and couldn't be happier with our new furnace and AC! Again, I would highly recommend Kowalski for any of your heating, cooling or plumbing needs.

Project information: I have an old house with radiant heat. I wanted to keep the radiators so I had the air handler installed in the attic and used some closet space on the 2nd floor for piping down from the attic to the 1st floor. From the first phone call with Jason, the owner, I had a feeling he was the right guy for the job. Upon the initial proposal visit, Jason was the most thorough with his scoping out the house and planning out the layout for install. He was also the most knowledgeable, and asked me questions I hadn’t even thought of yet. From start to finish, Jason was responsive, professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly made me feel at ease that he would make sure the job was done well and to my liking. Pricing was very reasonable. The install went great. It took 4 full days. After the install, Jason even helped direct me on getting the rebate offered through Duquesne Light, which was $250. I’m very happy with my air conditioning and enjoyed a nice cool house this summer. I enthusiastically recommend using Kowalski.

After searching Angie's List for a HVAC contractor that was in my area, I then researched the brands that each carried. I called Kowalski Heating & Cooling who carried Lenox. Jason immediately called me back and we set up an appointment. He made himself available at a time that was convenient to me which was appreciated. When he came out to look at the areas, he explained everything to me in detail and the reason why he picked what he felt I needed, and answered all my questions. We set up the installation for August 15th and his crew (which were the nicest group of guys) arrived on time in the am and had completed the job which included drilling through block and stone to install new pipes, concreting old openings and installing the furnace and air conditioner. Everything was cleaned up and they took all of the old equipment and trash with them. I would definitely highly recommend Kowalski Heating & Cooling and plan on calling them in the future when I need a new water heater.

The installation of the new system went very smoothly. Jason and his crew were right on time. They were very meticulous in making sure that everything was installed correctly and functioned as intended. Jason provided the equipment we needed at a reasonable price and had it installed in the promised period of time. Can't do much better.

My husband contacted Kowalski when our AC stopped working. They were at our house the same day to provide a free estimate. We already knew that we would need a whole new AC unit and heat pump, as we had been in contact with other companies as well. Kowalski provided an estimate with details of the job they would provide. Not only did they have one of the best prices and best rated products, they were able to give us an install date quicker than anyone else we had talked to. The day of the install came, the crew was right on time in the morning and they were finished by early afternoon (way quicker than we had imagined). They took the time to provide instructions on all of the equipment they had installed, as well as how to care for everything in the future. The service included a great warranty and they even offer a maintenance plan that we will definitely take advantage of. Kowalski Heating and Cooling installed a New Furnace, AC and 50 gallon water heater at our residence. They were very professional, worked diligently to perform the job in the 2 days they quoted. We are very happy with the new mechanicals they installed and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for this service.

I can't express how happy my wife and I are with the job that Kowalski did. Not only did they replace the outdated furnace and hot water heater with new energy efficient equipment, they went the extra mile to rerun duct and piping along with repositioning the layout of that equipment in the utility room to create more space. In addition they went ahead and cleaned the A/C unit and added freon to it. None of the other contractors we had come and bid the job even suggested this. Kowalski was able to do all the work, including all the extras, for what the others quoted out just for the replacement equipment. The team was professional, courteous and did a great job. I would recommend them to any of my friends needing HVAC work done.
