Company overbilled me by $10000 during the construction of my house and then refused to give me my money back. I tried to obtain a suit against them, but they changed their address so I was unsuccessful in obtaining a judgement. I am not sure if they are still in business, but they still have a website.
Description of Work: they installed stamped concrete driveway and porch floors on our new house that was under construction. They also installed an exposed aggregate driveway as part of the same project.

There is no Art to this Concrete. The "stamped" borders are barely textured, poorly color-blended, and have obvious hand prints. The job is not finished and has been abandoned. They failed to reconnect one of the drains, sprayed concrete all over my landscape lights, arbor, and plants, and left debris at the site. They did not apply the etched and colored stencil design I gave them, and did not return to correct a large mistake with my front step after agreeing to do so. I now need to find someone to connect the drain and correct the step and border. The job was to cost $14,800. I paid a deposit of $2960 on 3/26/09. I had to get my own building permit, and call PA One Call before starting, because they didn't do it (they claim that they never do it) They didn't begin the job until 4/20/09. They came to break up the driveway and broke and covered over the two existing drains, and couldn't locate them again, so they claimed that they didn't exist. A phone call to the house builder confirmed their existence, and they had to dig to find them. They saw-cut the front step from the driveway, whose replacement was not on the original proposal, and agreed to replace it for another $850, to which I agreed. They removed the front step, then gouged the concrete threshhold. They did some forming work, then disappeared for a couple weeks to work on other jobs. The oval design in the center was misshapen, because they first used two different lengths of bender board, then two different widths. They never got a symmetrical oval, but I gave up and accepted "close enough". (They agreed to saw-cut the edges afterwards to make it more symmetrical, but never did.) There were many excuses about the delays. The workers seemed to have little clue about the design I had specified, in writing and specific drawings, and I frequently had to go out and correct problems. On the day they were to make the pie-shaped saw cuts, they sent one worker, and I had to go out and help him! As soon as they had poured the step, I immediately noticed it was out of square, level and plumb. They assured me that they could fix this by saw-cutting the fresh concrete, but the adjacent border was also out of square. On 5/22/09 I was leaving the country AS THEY WERE POURING the last of the concrete and dealing with this mis-shapen step, and I told them we would discuss it when I got back. My husband paid them $10,360, as per our agreement (big mistake) They caulked and sealed in my absence, without consulting me as to color, did a messy job, and the sealant is inadequate and noticeably spotty. After many phone calls, Dave came out to assess a correction for the misshapen step and border and offered to eliminate the charge of $850, I declined and he agreed to replace the step and border. He has not returned my calls or emails since. I filed a complaint 3 weeks ago with the Better Business Bureau, of which they are a member, and they have not responded.
Description of Work: Removed and replaced concrete driveway and step with exposed aggregate and a stamped concrete border, and part of sidewalk and curb. Were supposed to reconnect two drains, etch and apply a colored design in the center oval, caulk and seal. The job was quoted at $14,800, and I still owe $1,480, not enough leverage, apparently, for them to finish the job.
