I called just once and spoke with David he immediately sent out 3 guys worked in 4 hours to fix the seeding of my yard, remove grass and cleaned. It was an excellent work. They take pride on their work.

Couldn't be happier. Price was fair, team was prompt, knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. Would not hesitate to recommend. Should I need any work done in the future I know who to call.

The representative from the company came and looked at the job on the day at the time they said he would. I got the estimate, signed it and returned it and they put me on the schedule. The workers came on the day they were scheduled, worked hard and did a very nice job. They ran a little short of tan bark so I called and they sent a guy out a few days later to finish job.

It went very well. Dave Schultz responded quickly, scheduled a date to provide an estimate, and showed up at the appointed time. He was helpful with suggestions and once the decision was made and the work scheduled, the crew arrived nd did a terrific job. Polite, professional, and courteous.

For the past 5 years, we have hired Schultz's Landscaping for our annual spring clean-up, trimming of shrubs, edging, and applying the mulch we supply as they always provide excellent service. This particular year, the service was more than excellent, it went well beyond our expectations. What a wonderful job!! Not only were all requested services completed, but much attention was paid to detail. Prior to our annual landscaping being completed, we always try to weed our beds, trim spent flowers, etc. This year we kind of ran out of steam and only partially completed this task. When we arrived home after the job was completed, not only were we impressed with the great product we received, we noticed the men actually trimmed some spent daffodils and tulips and pulled some weeds in our beds that we did not have time to address ourselves. This is why we will continue to employ Schultz's Landscaping and will highly recommend them. It is so rare these days to find a company that actually will go the extra mile for a customer, what a breath of fresh air. Thank you Schultz's Landscaping for another job well done!!!!!

Responded promptly to initial call. Came to home and provided options for us. Provided quote quickly. Executed work within 6 days of proposal approval. Work was complete within 8 hours. 2400 sqft area that was enclosed by a wooden fence. Very spotty grass and uneven yard. Showed up with machinery and removed fence panel to access backyard. Leveled and graded backyard and spread new 2" layer of topsoil in yard. Had extra topsoil so did the same for side of house in an area of the front yard - for no additional costs to us. Seeded with spreader and put down a straw cover layer. Watered entire area. Cleaned up work area and left after 8 hours. Job looks good. Now it's up to us to water and maintain. Will update if any issues but cannot imagine anything. I've recommended services to a few folks thus far due to professionalism and quality of service - well done!

Dave arrived to our home to assess the desired work and price for the work requested as scheduled. An estimate arrived in the mail a few days later. The estimate did not include aspects of trimming the neighbors hedges that have overgrown into our yard, so I discussed this with him during a phone call. Dave reported that he had forgotten about this as part of my request and said it would be covered in the cost on the estimate. Dave arrived with 2 of his crew on the scheduled date. We went over the estimate/plan and it was again noted that he had not included trimming the hedges on the estimate (I did not sign the estimate due to the hedges not being on the itemized work list). He again admitted that he had forgotten about the hedges and did not bring the tools to do the hedges. Dave reported that he would return with the correct tools for the crew to trim the hedges. He left to retrieve the shrubs/trees that were already purchased at a local nursery. When he arrived at the nursery, he was unable to locate the trees/shrubs and called my partner to confirm their purchase order. This was not his fault, as the nursery had miscommunication on their end. After a few phone calls to the nursery, all was under control and Dave arrived with the trees/shrubs. He went over the design and layout with my partner and left. He never returned. The 2 crewmen completed the itemized work in a timely fashion. They removed the concrete, edged new beds, dug holes, planted the trees/shrubs as desired. As they were to begin the tan bark in the front yard, they approached my partner who was working from home that day, to report that they do not have enough tanbark to complete the front yard as desired; that it would be much less then the typical coverage. They managed to cover the area but with less than an inch coverage in all areas. Thus was significantly less than the beds in the back yard. Despite the difference in depth of tan bark, the work was amazing. It really was beautiful. At the end of the day, the crew left and Dave never returned for his check or with the tools to complete the hedge trimming. We waited to hear from Dave or someone from Shultz's Landscaping regarding the tan bark coverage, hedge trimming and payment. A month went by and no word from them. We had assumed he got busy (since he squeezed us in for a favor...we had a pre-existing relationship where my neighbors and I helped him and his crew with a home renovation on our street). I thought he was good to his word and knowing Dave, he has a very busy schedule. We thought he just got behind schedule and would come out when he had time to trim the hedges and provide more tan bark in areas. But, we never heard from him until August when he emailed us an overdue invoice with late fees for payment. I immediately replied and explained the details of the situation. We explained that we were waiting to hear from him and to return to complete the job. I never heard from him again; receiving a collections notice. Ultimately we went to civil court over the matter and the Judge ruled on his side since the hedge trimming was never written in the estimate and I did not have proof in writing. However, on three occasions, Dave agreed (verbally) that hedge trimming was part of the estimate. He did not admit this in court and played innocent. He blatantly lied under oath. I would NEVER recommend Dave Shultz's landscaping. This was a simple matter of coming out and completing the trimming. It would have cost him nothing and he agreed to it three times. I ended up paying for the work completed and the additional court fees. Dave knows he did not do the job and lied to me, and the Honorable Elizabeth Beckley in court. Poor ethics...Poor job...

They were excellent. Everything turned out great.

We had them in to prune all the shrubs lining our yard previously so asked for an estimate to replace three of the shrubs that were dead and had to be removed. They were prompt with the estimate and suggested we wait until the fall to replace. They called to schedule at the appropriate time and were here and promptly.

I called them to get an estimate to get some parts of my lawn reseeded. They set up the appointment to give me an estimate, but a few days later said they were no longer interested in doing the work.

It went very well. They did a good job.
