+ 0 moreWe contacted Mechanical H2O LLC because we were referred to him by friends. I'm so glad we did! Greg (Owner of Mechanical H2O LLC) came to our house and discussed various options for a new and improved heating system. He was very knowledgable on all heating systems, but we were interested in changing from oil to a cleaner, more efficient system. We were tired of the sky rocketing oil prices , and Greg recommended a new 92% high efficient propane gas boiler. After receiving several different quotes from other reputable plumbing companies, we chose Mechanical H2O LLC for our project. His quote was fair and thorough. Everything was documented that I could easily understand what was included in the proposal. Greg explained the cost difference and the benefits of each system. It was truly a professional experience. From the time Mechanical H2O LLC arrived at my house to the day they were finished was a pleasant experience. All timelines were met. I run a very tidy house, and not once did I have an issue with workers being unsanitary. At the end of the day, work areas were cleaned and tools and materials stored where they should be. The work that was completed was top rate. The workmanship completed was a true work of art. I wish I could show pictures of the completed project. If you need a new boiler or any plumbing service, I highly recommend this company.

+ 0 moreThe work began as scheduled and stayed within the estimated time line. Both Greg and his subs cleaned up work area each night (since we were using the bedroom next to the shower). Greg supervised most of the work of his subs and if he was not present during the actual work, he checked at the end of the day. Only 2 problems involving work: Greg's tile provider did a good job of helping my wife select her tile. However, they did not mention that the tile she selected was in a higher price range than was provided in the estimate. We decided to go with the more expensive tile. We also knew that the shower door would not be standard, but it took the door contractor several days longer than estimated to manufacture the door and install it. However, all the work, both by Greg and his subs was excellent and very professional. Greg maintained tight control over his subs and ensured the quality of the work. We now have a shower that provides a more pleasant bathing experience and is more in keeping with a master bath. We would use Greg again and recommend him.
Description of Work: We had a small stall shower in the master bath that had little room to turn around, etc. There was unused space to the side so we decided to see if we could expand the shower into that space. We called several plumbing contractors for a plan and an estimate. Greg came promptly, took our wish list and returned fairly quickly with the plan, an estimate and a proposed timeline. We received several other estimates (only one in a timely fashion) Two bids were higher and 1 lower. However, 2 of the estimates did not include the tile sides that my wife requested, even though we told them this was important. Therefore, we selected Mechanical H2O as our contractor. Greg began the work promptly as follows: Removed the old shower stall, including the base and tile surrounds. Removed small divider wall between shower and toilet. Removed old pipes and basin that were leaking. Replaced old pipes with new plumbing; installed new elongated base for new wider shower; built new wall at one side to accept new shower head and pipes; installed new pipes and shower head and a separate shower wand (both units with selection of shower sprays). Built new partition between new shower and toilet. Installed new shower light and quiet fan. Installed new tile and painted shower walls above tile tile and also the remainder of the bathroom walls and ceiling to match new tile. Installed new shower door. Greg used several sub contractors for some of the work: help in removing old shower, tile installation, painting and installing shower door.

+ -1 moreFrom start to finish, Greg was responsive, knowledgable, and a pleasure to work with. He was diligent about the plumbing work and professional and proactive with communication. I will definitely use his services again when plumbing needs arise.
Description of Work: Greg came out to assess a problem with my HVAC system that involved water spillage of a few gallons in our basement. He determined that the pump to the system was no longer functioning, so he made plans to replace both the pump and the water-damaged return system materials. The next day Greg installed a new and more powerful pump and to cut away soaked materials and replace them with new materials so that mold would not become an issue.
