NESBIT'S LANDSCAPE SUPPLY

My experience with Nebits Landscape Supply was terrible and I would not recommend this business to anyone. I paid for and had 2 pallets of grey, colonial wall stone delivered to my home on 9/3/16. One of the pallets was exactly as expected and looked fantastic. The second wallet had what appeared to be a white substance splattered all over 90% of the stone, on both sides. I immediately contacted the sales rep I worked with to purchase the stone (Craig) and was asked to send some photos. Craig explained he would show these photos to the owner, Jeff and we would be able to figure out a solution. I had to call Craig back twice before he finally suggested I call back the next morning and speak with the owner Jeff. Craig was extremely helpful throughout the process and made it seem as if there would no issue finding a solution to my problem and agreed he had never seen anything on stones like the images I had emailed to him. Once I was finally able to speak with the owner, Jeff, it was immediately clear he had no desire to remediate the issue. He mentioned the substance could possibly be a lubricant they use when harvesting the stone and that it should only appear on one side of the stones, which it does not. Jeff was extremely condescending throughout the entire conversation suggesting that if I simply "flipped the stone over" the problem would be solved. He made it very clear that my small amount of business was of no consequence to him. I suggested two solutions to Jeff: First, they could come pick up the pallet of damaged product and drop off another pallet. Second, the could come pick up the pallet of damaged product, process a refund and resell the damaged product to another customer. Jeff's response to my suggestions was: "What would the advantage be for me to do either of those things" The advantage would be having a satisfied customer to whom you sold legitimate and usable product. I have never experienced such a disregard for customer service and sanctification as I did when dealing with Jeff. It was abundantly clear he intended to take no action and trivialized the product I purchased as "the cheapest stone you can buy" and mentioned how many truck loads of stones he sells. I find it very important to mention that all I wanted was a stone that I could lay in my garden to make for a more appealing outdoor living space. One of the pallets of stone was exactly that, and worked wonderfully. I do not make a habit, nor do I have time or desire to create issues for any business, let alone a small, local business, but these stones were simply impossible to use and could not be overlooked. All I wanted was something I could proudly display, and was more than willing to accept a multitude of solutions; unfortunately Jeff had no desire to provide any level of customer service to find an agreeable solution. In closing, it is also important to note, and provides a very clear picture of my experience with Nesbits Landscaping, that Jeff found it appropriate and professional to close our conversation by hanging up on me. Please do yourself a favor and avoid this business. There are plenty of local landscape supply yards that I am certain would appreciate your money and business much more than Nesbits.

Everything went very smoothly. Jeff (The owner) took our order personally and made sure that the delivery was on time and professionally done. The cost was very reasonable. My flower beds look teriffic!
