In fairness, I'm part of an HOA (to which I loath). His employees were always friendly, but sometimes did NOT pick up after themselves leaving empty bottles in our front yard. Every single week was a race to see who could get their area done first; I still have the tire marks throughout my back yard to prove that. The townhouses we live in have back yards that slope down, leaving the grass very soft. We use limestone annually due to clay soil, but despite knowing how soft the yard is, or that we just planted grass (yearly), they still race around and rip up several yards. I witnessed this weekly as I am contracted to work from home. Also, while sitting outside reading I heard one worker yell to another that the leaf removal was "good enough" as they were just off the yard and caught in the pachysandra. Neighbors would get tired of waiting on them to show up and mow their yards themselves hoping to get the point across that we paid them enough, our grass shouldn't be up to our ankles. Perhaps because we are in a development? I just cannot in good conscience reccomend these guys.

They are very fast, prompt, and responsive. They come in, they cut and they are gone. They don't spend any wasted time. They are two of them and they come in. It looks nice. They do a very nice job. The price seems fair.

I called several places over the past few weeks looking for a good, reputable company to do some fall clean-up around my house. I saw Majestic had good reviews and were close so I decided to contact them first. I called on a Monday morning around 11 am. Their answering machine said and quot;if we don't return your phone call within 24 hours, please call again as we may have written your number down wrongand quot;. I did not receive a call within 24 hours, but no big deal, I thought ; people are busy. I called around 3 pm that Wednesday and recapped what I had left in my message. I wasn't able to get a lot of useful price and schedule info out of the lady who answered the phone; again, no big deal...she wasn't performing the work. I thanked her and said I would call back if I wanted to use their service. I called 3 or 4 other local outfits and eventually circled back to Majestic. I called and left another message detailing the work I wanted to be completed and asking when I could expect them to be available. After another unanswered phone call, I called a few more times. If I remember correctly, 3 more phone calls, one of which I left another voice mail. I still have not received a return phone call and as a result I have hired someone else. Fairly disappointing.

I use them all the time. We have been satisfied with them. They cut our grass and do some trimming of things. Their work has always been good. They are pleasant people to work with. They are very responsive. They automatically come to cut the grass. If the weather is, bad or the lawn is to dry they will call and see if I want anybody to come out. They are punctual. They are professional.

A drain and buried line were installed to help alleviate the runoff problem. Topsoil was brought in and spread where needed, then seeded. Compost was spread over seeded area. Hillside was covered in a double shredded mulch over specified area. Completed job looked fine and was completed as described in the estimate. . . . . then it rained - hard. Experienced loss of topsoil along with the seed down the hillside into the mulch. Don't believe Majestic to be totally at fault, however there may have been additional steps to prevent such an event. Rich did suggest maybe lining the drive with some hay bales to stop/slow the runoff until the grass took root - tried that, didn't work. Maybe just unfortunate timing with when the rain fell. Rich was easy to work with, the men doing the job applied themselves to the tasks at hand, and the job was completed in short order.

What I like about them is that they give me options. If there's a certain time during summer where the grass isn't growing much and if I don't want my grass to be cut, all I have to do is call them 48 hours in advance so that they don't come. It's nice to have some control over things. If I want something special done, I just need to call in advance and give them an idea as to what I want and they'll come and do it. There was one time where I had more than grass cutting done and when I got the bill, I didn't agree with the number of hours that was put in. My husband went ahead and paid the bill, but he left a note on the bill stating that we disagreed with the number of hours and we though that it was only these many hours. They responded by adjusting to what we thought it was. I would really like to appreciate something like that. I've been happy with them. I've had them for at least 3 years. I don't know about the price because I haven't done any comparison with other people. Their responsiveness is good. They do their job district-wise where they have a cluster of customers in a certain district and they'll do them on one day and then it's a different cluster the next day. They do that to be efficient about things. They usually come on a Thursday or a Friday. They are very accountable from that standpoint. A lot of times, they are affected by the weather. If it's rainy one week and if they can't make it, I'll see them on a Monday morning. They do it as soon as they can. They've been professional. I would continue to work with them in the future.
