Description of Work: To ensure that you and your family will live another day, please don't hire thisso called electrician. While another contractor was doing work on my property, the concrete truck that he was using, caught the power lines in front og my house as he was backing away. This pulled the wires off of my house along with the meter and siding. The way the concrete company handled the situation is a whole other story, but I can tell you it wasn't good. Kennedy Concrete =F We needed an electrician and getting 3 estmates, we threw out the high and low bid and ended up with Kirk Snyder. Since he was there, we had him upgrade our panel from 100 to 200. All seemed to go well and away he went. About 2 days later my wife was using the hair dryer in the powder room, and it smoked and cracked and almost melted in her hand. Our first thought was a faulty hair dryer. After purchasing a new hair dryer, the same thing happened to it. We knew there was a problem, but didn't know what to do. Being satisfied with Kirks' work, we called him to take care of the problem, not thinking that he had actually caused the problem. He came out and fiddled around at the panel and said there was bad wiring in our house, but he thought he fixed the problem. It was only a $10 charge, nice guy. The next day my wife plugged in yet another new hair dryer which again melted. We immediately called our general contractor, who investigated and told us that Kirk Snyder put the new panel in, he had wired our powder room outlets to 220v instead of 110v. He told us we were lucky we didn't have a house fire and that it was VERY dangerous. He fixed the problem and we have had no trouble since. The moral of this story is, if you want to live, please don't hire Kirk Snyder as an electrician. N
