I bought an old house and the seller needed to have the sewer line replaced before they could sell. Eagal Excavating performed the work. You are always going to have more dirt than will fit back in the hole and you have to mound it so it can settle, but they did a hurry-up job and mounded it so high you couldn't even drive a lawnmower over it. Before the closing we asked the seller about it, who proceeded to contact Eagal. They came back to "fix" it and just made a giant mess. They took dirt out to the point where it was below-grade, didn't even try to smooth it out or make it look decent and now that it's settled it's way worse. We thought maybe they were waiting until the rainy season was over and they were going to come back but it's been two months now and nothing. To top it all off the light post at the end of my front sidewalk used to work on a switch inside the front door and now doesn't work at all. I don't know that they broke the electric line for sure but it worked before we bought the house and doesn't after, and that's the only work that was done anywhere near it. They did an all-around terrible job. I don't know how anyone can leave a job like that and not be embarrassed. I wouldn't recommend anyone hire Eagal Excavating to walk their dog, let alone break ground.

Lived in this house for 10+ years and never had a problem with the plumbing, about a week and a half after they did their work the toilets upstairs and downstairs were clogged. I called and was told it prob wasn't from them and to try this and that which included climbing on my roof and snaking some pipe.Well I don't know what i'm doing nor have the time but was told if it was them they would def take care of it. Two weeks later its still doing it, call them back and leave a message and they wouldn't even call me back. Another week or so goes by,try and call again and leave message, still wont return my calls. Eventually call them and tell them leaving a message that it ended up unclogging on its own and wanted to talk about other work I was gonna hire them for that we had talked about the first day they were here, just to try and get them to return my calls so I could talk to them about that and other work they did that I was not happy with and to this day they have never even returned my calls. It really wasn't unclogged just wanted them to call back to ask them to come take care of it like he said they would but to also talk about 1.They had to tear the downstairs bathroom up, floor was dug up and new pipes put in but was told if i wanted them to put the bathroom back the way it was i had to give them $200 to take care of that(sellers had to pay for everything else)gave them the $ but thought later why am i having to pay for that, they tore up the same floor all the way from the bathroom to the other wall putting pipes down so when they fixed the floor why would that not include the bathroom floor???...anyway when they fixed the floor in the bathroom it was done poorly, there is a big dip in the floor right in front of the sink, not level at all, so when i wash hands brush teeth ect my right foot is down in a dip.2. When they hooked the water in the sink back up they did it backwards so hot is now cold and vise versa3. the bathroom door used to close now it wont.4.Wherever the tractor was b4 it came here it was covered in lots of mud and dropped big chunks of mud that turned to dirt that I spent a lot of time picking up 2 grocery bags full of big chunks of dirt all thru my front yard. Wouldn't recommend! Should have at the very least returned my calls when I left messages that the toilets were still clogged???

Description of Work: Replaced sewer line from inside basement and about 120' in the yard to the sewer main, per the local sewer authority. Lloyd is VERY professional, he was on the job all the time, and made sure everything went correctly. I was alone at the time and he treated me and spoke to me with respect and professionalism

They were extremely professional, and very detail oriented. The owner called me promptly when I left a message about my situation with selling the house and failing the BASA test. He was there overseeing the entire process, and actually did the excavating. Their work was efficient, neat, and was completed prior to the day and a half they originally stated. The entire project was done it one day, I have no complaints whatever. Would recommend to all my friends and family without hesitation.
Description of Work: Because we failed BASA testing in order to sell our property, Eagal Excavating had to start in our basement and replace sewer line all the way out to the main.
