Mr. Grant arrived promptly at the designated time and tested the faulty igniters. He cleaned the oven igniter module to see if that would restore function, but it did not. The electronic stove top igniter clearly was not working and needed replaced - major electronics panel. He ordered the parts, set up a return visit to install them and followed through exactly on schedule. Throughout, Mr. Grant was pleasant, courteous and knowledgeable about the particular appliance model we had. He explained what he was doing throughout, showed me how to clean the oven spark unit of possible carbon coating should that occur, and was fair in the work-time he charged. He was in and out in short order, once he obtained the parts needed to repair the stove. He also advised me on how best to seek consideration from the appliance maker for such major parts failure which occurred within months of our warranty expiration. Total repair costs amounted to about half the cost of the stove which was less than two years old. While expensive, Mr. Grant's service call charge was lass than half what the Dealer charged just to show up and look at it. Our beef is with the appliance maker. Mr Grant performed his service in a professional manner and the stove works perfectly now. Mr. Grant will be our choice for any future appliance repairs we may need.

He got here exactly when he said he would. He was pretty prompt in completing the work. He didn't have the exact part that he needed so we had to kind of wait to see if he could get it. But that wasn't really his fault. That was out of his hands. He's reasonable, as far as prices. The repair he's done so far has been good, so he's easy to deal with. He was good about getting out here on time, his prices were good and he did the work and it's held up so far.

I contacted Mr. Grant with some questions regarding fixing a 15 year old dryer. He contacted me right away and fixed the problem within a day. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. He did the work in a timely manner and at a good price. He really knew what he was doing and fixed something that I thought I would need to replace. I will certainly use his services again when needed!

Our gas oven stopped working last night. I called Duane around 9:00 this morning and explained the problem. He asked for the model number of the stove to make sure he had the necessary part. He arrived around 11:30 and I had a working oven before noon. He was professional, pleasant and explained both the problem and his bill. Duane promptly returned my initial call. When scheduling the appointment he offered me the option of a refurbished or new part. He was very flexible with scheduling the appointment, working around the holidays. Duane arrived on time and quickly replaced the ice maker. He was very professional and courteous. He noted that another part may need replacing in the future and took time to explain what to look for. He took the old parts away. It was a pleasure doing business with him.

I had called Duane the week before to schedule service and rather than coming out that day he gave me a couple of things to try on my own. He said "I'd hate to charge you for something you can likely do yourself". I love that! Turns out his suggested remedy worked for about a week, then the problem of our dishes not coming clean surfaced again. I called him back and scheduled for the next day. Duane showed up right on time if not a few minutes early, and was in and out in about an hour. He let me watch him work in case I experience the problem again, so I know how to fix it on my own. He's a really nice guy and knows what he's doing. I would recommend him to anyone!

We've had problems for the last several months getting the oven section of our gas stove to light and heat up. When I contacted him on the phone, Duane walked me through the process of giving him some needed information (model number, etc) so that he could arrive at our house with the appropriate parts. Duane was able to schedule us for the next business day, and arrived when he said that he would. He cleaned several parts on the oven and made sure that it was lighting reliably. He did not need to replace any parts, saving us money (thanks, Duane!). We've been looking for a responsive and trustworthy repliance repair person, and we have now found him! Won't hesitate to recommend him to our friends and neighbors.

A valve in our GE gas range arbitrarily failed overnight and caused a natural gas leak in our home. We had the utility company come out at 3AM to shut off the gas. We didn't know where to turn as far as having the appliance repaired as our home warranty company was unable to locate a local service provider. After studying our options on Angies List, we decided to call Duane with DMG Appliance Repair. He returned our call within hours and offered to come out almost immediately. This man is top notch. He is obviously very knowledgeable and handled every detail beautifully. We highly recommend Duane and thank him for an excellent service experience.

I have a built in Magic Chef oven which had a gas leak. The Home Warranty Company used A&E Service who came and stated that they couldn't locate a serial number or model number so they couldn't work on it. I was charged $75.00 and my oven was still leaking. I called DMG Appliance and spoke with Duane on Monday 7/7/14 and he said he was on a job and would stop over once he was done. Within 1/2 hour Duane was at my door and located the model, serial number and located the issue with the oven. Duane was able to order the part. On Wednesday Duane called me and said the part was in and he would be there the following day to install. Duane showed up as scheduled on time and was professional and very courteous. His knowledge and customer service is unmatched by these large service companies. Hands down one of the best repair people I have ever came across. Would use again and absolutely recommend him. Total for the job was approximately $250.00 for 2 services calls, parts and labor.

Everything went great. Duane is extremely good at his job, and extremely honest as well. He came initially to diagnose the problem, ordered the part, and the very same day that the part arrived he called to make sure we were home and then fixed the problem. He also counseled me to get a wall mount surge protector, which I really appreciated. When he gave me the bill, I was amazed at the reasonable fee he charged me. Duane was great- called me back very quickly after I left my first voicemail. He scheduled an appointment with me the next day. He arrived on time and determined the issue. He had to order parts so he said he would be in contact the next day. He called me the next day to tell me that the parts were in and came back the to service the washer and dryer. After he left, the dryer door kept opening- I called him back. He came back and resolved that issue as well. I would definitely hire Duane again!
