Description of Work: HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! After getting the run around from a different company for a month and multiple diagnosis that didn’t fix our AC issue, we called Cunningham Shanor. Our service tech showed up when promised. Within ten minutes, he had the problem diagnosed and fixed within an hour of arriving. 100% recommend Cunningham Shanor!

Description of Work: I contacted them for an estimate for a new 80 gallon hot water tank. They came within a few hours and arrived exactly at the time stated. They looked over the job and took photos. Their proposal will be emailed to me. There was no charge for the estimate.

Description of Work: Shutoff valves were installed on pipes to stationary sink faucet in the basement.

Description of Work: My husband called them to install a gas line for our gas dryer and to check our furnace. When serviceman came he told me that the condo I was moving to required that I request permission before I had any changes performed. I checked and found out that a detailed plan had to be submitted to the condo association in addition to the service provider getting an insurance policy with the association listed as beneficiary in case anything went wrong with the install. He also told me that they offered a group discount for our plan including 2 times a year service on the furnace and air conditioner and a new filter (standard size only) for only $58.00 each service call, but that while doing this servicing in our plan he had never seen a gas dryer so was not sure if I could get approval, because of the different venting needs for gas dryers. I asked the serviceman to look at the hook up for the gas furnace to see if it was OK (because it looked strange with the flexible tubing I was not familiar with) and he said it was OK, and he checked the filter and said it was clear . He asked me if he wanted me to service the furnace, and I told him that I did not know what my husband had requested and he was not there, so he did not perform maintenance on the furnace. ( I found out later that my husband had requested a furnace check up) We received a bill for $68.00 for the service call and $34.00 for checking the gas line to the furnace for proper installation - It said he used gas tite to main maniold and tapped out of manifold w/whips to water tank & furnace. I don't know what that means or if he did anything while I was out of the room. This was said to be 1/2 price of the normal $68.00 service fee - making the total for the call $102.00.

Description of Work: We had two separate leaks in copper tubing in our basement over a two week time period. Both times the old pipes needed to be cut out and new pipes, fittings and shut-off valves installed and re-soldered.
