+ 1 morePeter is very detailed but not the fastest. However, I'd much rather that the end result is good even if it means taking a bit longer. He kept me posted of the daily progress and keeps the line of communication open. The kitchen looked amazing once everything was done. The 2 bathrooms were both relatively small bathrooms but came out very nice. Would definitely use Peter again for future projects.
Description of Work: Renovate 2 bathrooms and the kitchen.

Peter called me regularly to keep me informs of progress and always called if there was a problem that needed my attention. He was professional and the quality is excellent

Description of Work: We hired PKF Construction (Peter Ferguson) to build a two-story addition to our house, adding about 800 square feet, including kitchen, family room, bedroom, and three bathrooms. We could not have been happier with Peter in every way. He does one job at a time, so he's not off managing another project somewhere. He answers his phone, returns calls, and is very professional, unlike many other contractors. His work is top-notch, he is committed to quality, and he lived up to every commitment. We will absolutely use Peter again, and recommend him highly.

+ 13 moreOverall it went very well. We got several estimates from different general contractors before selecting PKF. He wasn't the cheapest estimate, but we definitely got what we paid for: High Quality Workmanship, Excellent Service, Professionalism, Punctuality; superior end product.
Description of Work: We hired PKF Construction for a whole house repair/renovation project. It was major and involved the insurance company. The entire project once the General Contractor (PKF Construction) was on site took approximately 6 months from start to finish. We had all new electrical put in (old knob and tube taken out), walls removed, new plumbing, whole house dry-walled, all new kitchen installed with new appliances, heated tile floors in bathrooms, new hardwood floors, etc. Our house is old and presented lots of challenges along the way (rolling floors, no two windows or doorways were standard size, etc), but PKF Construction was able to replicate the woodwork and moldings throughout to match the original, such that our house still has its historical classic feel, despite everything being new inside. Peter, the owner, was on site every day. His crew was professional, talented and easy to work with. And even though we were not able to live in the house during the repair project, they cleaned up every night.
