This company was hired to address a manufacture's defect in a table; the company pick up and dropped off the table in the company van giving the impression they were doing the work. The truth is Niki Francis Restorations did not do the work but sourced the contract out to a company in West Chester, PA; Haines Furniture Repair. Haines Furniture Company destroyed the table that Niki Francis Restorations supplied to them. I tried to have the table fixed by a highly respected furniture repair shop in Philadelphia (Best of Philly) and here was the owner's response: "The spots are from silicone contamination. Either in the finish or on the surface. The scratches are from improper sanding of the wood or between coats of the finish. The problem is that after the last strip and refinish the veneer may be too thin to repeat the process again. I have to decline your project...." The furniture proprietor refused to address the issue any further with Niki Francis Restorations or Haines Furniture Repair. I have taken the matter up with my credit card company. Hopefully we will be able to be reimbursed for the table.

This is an incorrect posting Name should be MS Joos , not [Member Name Removed] She did not hire us to do anything , the movers did as a courtesy to Ms Joos. They did not have to do anything since Ms Joos sign that she inspected it and found no damage then weeks later pointed out a small pin head size mark on the table. As you can see by the photos the pin head marks from the before photo and the high sheen polished finish work that was delivered. The furniture company has informed me that she is just trying to get a refund on the table but still wishes to keep it. As far as I know this as well as the CC claims have denied

They charged me $120 for nothing. No service was performed. The office is less than a mile from the property. After speaking with them, they made it seem like they would not be issuing a refund.
Description of Work: They arrived in 10 minutes and left within 4 minutes.

We charge for estimates and made it clear that would charge for the estimate. We also made it clear before we came to the rental property that it was most likely not cost effective to hire us. You insisted that we come out anyway. We came to the house and found that you had purchased a new refrigerator from a scratch and dent shop that was too large to install. We would need to cut out cabinets, tear out the sink and replace the counter top. The cost far exceed the replacement cost for a new kitchen , you agreed that the cost to address the problem exceed what you were willing to pay. You decided not to have the work done. You then asked if we would wave the estimate fee, after we made it clear that we charge for the estimate/service call. I pointed out that employees, gas and time cost money and that is why we charge for our time. All you did was received an estimate and we will be happy to honor that estimate, although as I pointed out it would be cost effective to just by the correct size refrigerator

Description of Work: When moving an antique bookcase, one of the legs came loose and I was concerned it was going to break. I called the company and the owner answered and made an appointment to come to my house the next day. He removed,the loose piece, sanded and refitted it and glued it back in place. He was very knowledgable about antique furniture and, in fact, is writing a book about it. I couldnt have asked for better service.
