Can not begin to tell you how badly this job went. When they were removing the old shingles, they tore up strips of the original underlayment. (the primary product that prevents roof from leaking.. shingles are mainly for show. ) Therefore, there were areas of bare plywood that were never re-covered. The tar paper I paid for was never installed, & shingles were nailed down over bare plywood. When I questioned them, they assured me that they knew their business, and I would not have any trouble. My roof is POURING water - into the attic, into light fixtures in our kitchen, and into our sunroom. They returned once to assess the problem ( in dry weather) and used a caulking gun on a few shingles, and said "see how that works". It did not fix the problem, and they will not return our multiple attempts to call them over several weeks. As another customer observed, they used young kids in roof job, There was a substantial mess after the roof was put on, with roofing nails causing a flat tire. However, the worst part has been that we used these guys and our roof leaks. ( It was old before replacement, but at least it was dry! )

It rained the day after they finished and the roof leaked. They came back to fix it when I was not here and did not like that. He did not put the strip across the back of the house so snow slipped off the roof and we had to shovel back there in the winter. I did not call him because I did not want him to do any more work because I could not trust him then. I picked them because they had good ratings on Angie's List. He even said he would come back but I could not trust him to come back to do the work. He did not call me before he came back. He just came back when I was not here. All he had to do to tell us what day he was coming. They were pretty good with punctuality. The only thing is he was gone a lot when he had young kids up on the roof. You would think he would stay because he had kids up there but apparently he had to go do other business. We would have him do the siding too but because he did not do the things I mentioned we did not use him. When they were roofing they broke the dryer vent and I had to replace it. They were not professional when they did not do it right in the first place.
