I have used Martella Electric in the past we and have been very happy so I called again. Kathy and the office staff make scheduling easy. I was concerned with the sloppy wiring of the original smoke detector and purchased a new one. Brian determined that the smoke detector was actually from an old alarm system no longer used. Brian removed the old smoke detector. He installed a new battery operated smoke detector because the wired unit was not needed. l plan on having Martella Electric do more work in our house in the future. I feel a lot better. Brian and Mark did a great job.

Professional, courteous, good suggestions.

Brian and his crew were and did everything we could possibly hope for. They were efficient, polite, thoughtful, and fully professional. They arrived on time, performed all the major and ancillary work they were scheduled to do and finished up an hour or so earlier than we expected. The value that their work added to our house is far greater than the money we paid! Any company would be delighted to have these guys on their payroll.

All went well and what I especially appreciate, besides the outstanding work, is the education I alway receive and suggestions they make about my concerns with anything electrical in our home.

Turned out to be a tripped breaker that hadn't moved, so it didn't look like it had been tripped. Mark was highly professional throughout, and charged just the $69 basic diagnostic visit fee. Question remains, why did it trip the breaker? After 50 years of service, no doubt it's about time to upgrade to new equipment, for higher efficiency as well as reliability.

Excellent. We had an urgent problem. The company dispatched a great electrician thirty minutes after my call, gave us the grim diagnosis, and completed the outside work that morning. The electrician wired in the new service panel 2 mornings later. His advice to call PECO about getting their line to the house replaced and filing a homeowners insurance claim was invaluable. We truly appreciate how this company responded and got our problem addressed.

James provided different options with three levels of service (most expensive to least expensive) and offered to work on Saturday because we’d be without electricity for the day. He did a great job and he’s very nice and professional. I have used Marcella before and I trust them, find their prices reasonable and they do good work.
