The installer did an outstanding job. Extremely professional, always on time, polite, courtesy and extremely easy to work with. I highly recommend this company. There was never any mess. He gave my neighbor a bonus. They used asphalt from the street to the driveway. There was extra so he patched the holes in my neighbors asphalt. at no charge. I highly recommend this company. I need some work on the sidewalk in the front of my house, Dio Construction will definitely get the job.I can not say enough about how good this company is.

Water damage because of poor drainage cause the concrete porch to crack and the front of the driveway to erode. Pat, at Dio Construction came out and surveyed the job and gave recommendations not only to replace the porch and patch the driveway but he also recommended to slope the drive away from the porch. The also had to cut the posts when refitting the post and rails. The job was completed in three days and Dio Construction did a great job. I was very pleased with their work. They know what they are doing.!

Pat Dio was a pleasure to work with on my driveway. Pat showed up when he said he would and did the work that he said he would do. I had several quotes. For some reason the other guys wanted to replace everything? Pat showed me what parts needed repair and reassured me that there was no reason to touch the other area. Work was performed as he said. His workers did a nice clean job and saved me about $6K for not having to repave everything.

Our shared asphalt driveway with our neighbor was in very poor condition and desperately needed to be repaved. After I first called for a quote, Pat came out soon afterwards to inspect the 18x38' driveway. An estimate was promptly emailed to me a few days later. I had received several estimates, and Dio Construction was on the lower end. There was a little delay from the time I responded to the estimate to the time we were actually put on the schedule. Due to unpredictable weather and other jobs in their queue, we were given a time frame for when the work could be completed, and were told that we would receive a call when a date would become available. A week or two later, I received a call back and we were able to schedule the job for a few days later (even though we would not be home). The job was completed on the day scheduled, and we received an emailed invoice a few days later. We came home to a new driveway that looks great, and will hopefully last us many years (with proper maintenance)!

They were not awarded the job. I have been in business for many year and I always provide a customer with a written and detailed estimate of the cost and the services to be provided. I expected the same from anyone bidding on a job from me.

I contacted this company because I has a sink hole develop in my driveway. Left a message in the morning and had my call returned that night. Pat showed up early the next morning to inspect the problem and gave me a very reasonable price to have it fixed. Because it is very busy time for their business Pat could not specify an exact date for when they would show up to do the work and he assured me that I did not need to be home for them to do the work. Within a week the crew showed up, did the repair and made sure that they had cleaned up all the area around the repair area. I was very impressed with the way they did the job and especially with their care in making sure that everything was cleaned up before leaving. I would highly recommend this company.

They showed up at the specified time, did a very professional job and left me with a beautiful concrete patio. The owner showed up for the estimate and was on site and working with the crew the day of the work. My approximately 12' x 12' patio was done in one day and I am very pleased with the result.

Pat returned my call promptly. He came out and did an estimate the next day at the time we arranged. The work was done within the week. The job was done while we were out of town and was of excellent quality with great attention to detail. Pat's was one of three estimates I got. He was the most prompt at returning my calls and his estimate was the lowest. I highly recommend Dio Construction and will definitely call Pat for future work.

Both projects went great. He showed up with a full team of workers and a number of trucks and equipment. They finished the very long walkway in two days including laying the river stone in the cement which we decided on in the last minute since we already had the stone. What a difference! It looks so nice. The owner made sure that all drainage issues were addressed since we have water run off issues. When the team came back to do the driveway we asked about extending the driveway and moving some very large rocks that lined the driveway on one side to the other. He was very adaptable to our changes and did a great job. The team finished repaving our steep driveway in 7 hours. He also added a bump/lip at the start of the driveway to redirect water drainage which has been an issue in the past. We have been hugely disappointed with contractors in the past but were thrilled with Dio, highly recommend them, and would use them again. Our neighbors have asked for Dio's contact information because they were so impressed with the work he did for us.

When we decided we wanted a walkway done on our property, the first thing we did was visit Angie's List and select 5 Super Service Award winners within 5 miles of where we live. Two companies came back with $2500 proposals, one was $1500, Dio Construction was $1400, and one never sent a proposal. I'm not the type that always goes for the lowest bid but I always see Dio Construction trucks around the area, Pat's been in business for 45 years, and he's a Super Service Award winner for the last 7 years in a row. When I told Pat I wanted to go with him, he said lead time was about two weeks and he'd give me a call a couple of days before doing the work. Three days later, Pat calls and says, "The weather changed my plans, I can do your walkway today if you want." Awesome! I told Pat to come on over. Pat and his guys got to work right away. They dug up the grass and dirt without making a mess and got the forms in quickly. I asked Pat to save me some of the grass strips he dug up so I could lay it down on some bare spots on the other side of my driveway. Not only did they save the grass, they cut it to shape and covered the bare spot for me! The concrete supplier showed up and Pat and crew poured, leveled, scored, etc. the concrete. Beautiful job and it was done in one day. Before leaving, Pat suggested filling in the gap between the grass and the newly poured walkway with edge stones rather than dirt. We took his advice and the result is extremely pleasing to the eye. Almost forgot, the quote was for $1400 but when I told Pat I found him on Angie's list, he applied the 5% coupon and I wrote the check for $1330.

I made an appointment for an estimate, Pat the owner showed up on time, measured driveway, and within a day sent me an estimate. I agreed to the price and a date was scheduled for the work to be done. 7:00 a.m. Pat and his crew showed up and quietly unload all of their tools at 3:00p.m. My driveway was finished and looks FANTASTIC! Pat also gave me instructions on how to care for the new blacktop, I inquired about having the driveway sealed and he informed me to wait at least 6 months. I had an estimate from another contractor that was $250.00 more than Dio's price. Thanks Pat great job.

Everything went great. They showed up on time, did everything they were supposed to do, even helped me move some of the topsoil from the place where they extended the driveway to a spot where grass wasn't growing well. I asked for the driveway to be tilted in such a way that rainwater drains into a ditch that goes around the house, so that it doesn't flood my garage, and they did this very well - we've had 2 hard rains since then and the water flowed perfectly, like it was supposed to. I'm very satisfied.

Our neighborhood gets many driveway sealing crews coming through during the summer and much of the work they do is less than satisfactory. I was happy to have Pat bring in a crew he trusted and save me the trouble. Pat returned after the drive was sealed to see that all work had been completed correctly. Pat's was one of three estimates I got. He was the most prompt at returning my calls. His estimate was the lowest and he was willing to do the small concrete sidewalk job the other two companies were not willing to do. I highly recommend Dio Construction and will definitely call Pat for future work.

Pat returned my phone call, delivered an estimate, and completed all work promptly. He was responsive to our questions and concerns. He and his crew worked hard to minimize the disruption the project entailed. We received two other estimates indicating the entire double driveway needed to be replaced but Pat said it was not necessary. It has rained several times since the work was completed and the runoff is perfect-no low spots, no puddles on the driveway or patio. It's obvious that Pat takes great pride in his work and it is apparent in the results. Highly recommended !

We couldn't be happier. We had one other bid- over $6,000 to replace the driveway without fixing the grading problem! Pat did a great job of assessing the problem, explaining that most of the driveway was OK and suggesting a lower cost correct alternative.

Work was done perfectly, and on time, and to specifications. DIO was courteous and professional.

Got multiple bids, selected Dio as best price / didn't need subcontractor. Talked about how we wanted it laid out, but had to wait for our township to repave the street. Once done, they came right out and did the work quickly and neatly. They even handled a particular way we wanted the water to run off. They were great, even finishing the job while we were away on vacation. We can home to the project done perfectly. Great experiience!

I am a construction project manager that was hired to handle a Bryn Mawr client's water issues and build a room in their basement. Part of the work required removing the worn out driveway and replacing it with new. I interviewed four contractors for expertise and bid pricing. I chose Dio and it was the right choice! Pat is a man of his word and knows his craft from old school. He was present for all work. His attention to detail was outstanding and his communication with his workers was great. He understands how to work with the lay of the land to successful move water away from sensitive areas. The quality of his product is outstanding. And his price was the best of the bunch to the point he was much lower than some others while providing outstanding service and a beautiful product. It is my impression that some contractor's feel they can expect more money because of the Main Line area. However, Dio is fairly priced and well worth it. The homeowner had a small issue with the driveway that would have been considered acceptable by industry standards. Dio returned immediately and remedied the issue far beyond what was needed. He did an excellent job and the homeowner's are very pleased. I highly recommend Dio Construction.

Dio was not the least expensive, but his explanation of the job gave me confidence he would do a good job. On the scheduled day, his team showed up on time and got right to work. They did a great job, very quick and we are very happy with the end result. I have no complaints about the experience with Dio and would not hesitate to ask them to bid on another project.

Everything turned out fine. I have no complaints whatsoever. They were prompt and professional. The work was good.

I obtained several quotes for this job. Althought the quote from DIo was not the cheapest I was very impressed with the owner and his personal involvement in the process. During the work he was there each day and not just supervising but doing hands on work. The quality of the work was superb and the crew was very professional and friendly. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Contacted this company because the list showed them as Definitely servicing my area but they called me back and let me know that they do not service my area for small jobs such as ripping out and repaving my driveway. They were punctual in calling me back but it would have been nice if the site listed that they only serviced my area for larger jobs which I guess is based on the distance that they would have to travel.

Called Anthony at Dio for an estimate 3/15/12. He came to the house and reviewed existing driveway on 3/17/2012. Gave a written estimate at that time. Called Anthony around 3/20/12 - and accepted his proposal. He indicated he would be able to complete the job before the end of April. Driveway was completed 4/25/20

I got a quick initial response to my request for an estimate. Then it took us a couple of months for us to follow up from the August estimate. When I did call to set up the work, we got an approximate start date that was out two weeks which turned into about 3 weeks due to rain. Then they came and worked intensively, got the curb put into place and left it to cure. They prepped the rest of the driveway before they did the curb. Then I didn't hear from them, and I called after several days, for almost two weeks. They did call, finally, to let me know when they would be ready to come back to finish. And then they called again the day before. They came and completed the work. Again, we believe the quality is outstanding. We would use them again, despite the annoyance of the delay for the final paving.
