First day: Technician arrived and diagnosed the problem as a "loose wire" and I paid him $75. The system restarted and began to cool. Two hours later, the system failed again (no cooling). I called to complain that their solution was not effective and the second day two techs (including the original tech) arrived and attempted to diagnosis the same problem. They replaced a "hard start kit" on the compressor. The techs stated the high pressure @ 375# was over limit and I needed to clean the coils. The system restarted and began to cool. I cleaned the coils as directed by the techs. Two hours later, the system failed again (no cooling). I called again to complain their repair was ineffective. The third day, another tech arrived and attempted to diagnosis the same problem. He again reported the high pressure @ 375# and over limit condition which he stated was causing the compressor to overheat and shut down. He stated the coils needed to be cleaned (again) and charged me $89 to clean the coils. The pressure remained at 375# and he then stated that the compressor needed to be replaced ( and noted the need to replace the compressor on the invoice). He told me that he would contact the Home Warranty company to authorize a replacement compressor. The next day I call Airtek to follow-up on the status of the compressor replacement and they did not answer or return my repeated calls for a status update. In turn, I contacted the Home Warranty company and was told that Airtek had reported that the air conditioning equipment was working satisfactorily and NO MENTION OF THE NEED FOR A REPLACEMENT COMPRESSOR. Airtek has failed to provide professional service to correct my air conditioner problem and charged me $164. They did not respond to my requests for a status update. They factually misstated their diagnosis of a NEED FOR A REPLACEMENT COMPRESSOR to the Home Warrany company.

They are incredibly slow to respond. I called them Thursday and they came Friday. They looked at the unit and said that they'll be back on Monday. Then they postponed Monday and said they will be back on Tuesday so I don't know if they'll come back to fix the problem or not. They are slow and inefficient. Scheduling with them had been very difficult.
