Description of Work: They installed a new furnace through community action, weatherization program. They came they missed days. They lied, said I was not home when I was. I took uncounted days off work to be there when they were to come and they didn't show up. They were the unfriendliest people I have ever met. They didn't have the decency to introduce themselves or even say hello or goodbye. After the installation was complete, the furnace quit working a few weeks later. They started the job late in the year of 2010. I had them come back several times to do repairs. I got fed up and hired Lutons Plumbing and heating. They came 2 SEASONS and couldn't repair the furnace. Finally they had the service rep from the furnace company come out to check the furnace. They found 14 major mistakes that had been made by ABC at the time of installation. Lutons gave up and said I needed to get back to the weatherization program. I did. They finally sent someone from Blooms plumbing and heating. He tried his very best but the furnace would only work a few weeks at a time, sometimes only days. This wen on for 2 more SEASONS. After 4 cold cold winters with/without/with and again without heat. Blooms finally requested to have the furnace replaced since there was no fixing what ABC had ruined. I am still paying off Lutons Plumbing and heating. Their bill was over $2000.00. They had told me the cost would be diverted to ABC, but that never happened. I am paying for a repair that never happened. I now have a working furnace and very satisfied with Blooms plumbing and heating, especially Bill, he put his heart and soul and so much time into this issue.

+ -1 moreChris showed up on time on the date scheduled. We talked about specifics of the install and I like that he offered suggestions for improvement. On the first day he laid out and installed the lines. On the second day he connected each line to the fixtures. I asked him back to repair a leak, switch pipes into the shower (hot and cold lines were reversed), and change the connection type into the washing machine (from drywall plumbing recess to spigots - this is on a cinder block wall). In hindsight, I wish I had asked for the lines into the basement bathroom fixtures to come off the trunk at a right angle and follow the wall down to the fixture. I later put into a drop ceiling and it was challenging to cut holes in the precise location of the pipes. Would have been infinitely easier if the lines had come straight down the wall. Overall, they did a quality job and ABC will be my go-to for future plumbing needs. The technician (Chris) was friendly and I like that he listened to me and we collaborated. I am the household handy man and I like to be involved and learn more by assisting in small ways. I do not like aloof service techs.
Description of Work: Replaced all copper water pipes in house with pex.

+ -1 moreMr Hinton was very profession in his work at my home. His prices were reasonable and he was very punctual after coming to my rescue after another local plumber was a FAILED to report to my home on my scheduled day off. He did a lot of work and his prices were reasonable (for plumbing work). He even repositioned my sink so that someone else installed, so the water wouldn't stand in the sink. I really was impressed with his company and would recommend him over any other plumber in Johnstown, PA!
Description of Work: He reconfigured my plumbing in my kitchen in order to install a dishwasher.
