+ -1 moreI had received a few other quotes, some as high as $13,000 for equipment that was not as good as what Doug installed. My a/c stopped working. Had another company evaluate it, and the recommending replacing. That is when I started shopping around. Got a recommendation for Sword Heating and A/C from a neighbor, and am very happy. Doug helped me research the best unit for my house, worked up several quotes, then quickly installed the heater and outside unit, ran new lines, and had my house cool again in short order. All at prices WAY better than anyone else I spoke with. Great experience

+ -1 moreDoug Hocker, from Sword H&C provided outstanding service. I was told by another HVAC company that my heat exchanger was cracked, and I needed to either replace the heat exchanger ($1,500 minimum), or replace the whole heater ($3,000 minimum). Doug did the intelligent thing - he actually tested for leaks, rather than just relying on visual inspection. He determined there was no leak, and no need to replace the exchanger or heater. So, my bill was only $120, instead of several thousand, and I have peace of mind. Doug is an excellent communicator, and went the extra mile to treat the customer right.
Description of Work: Evaluated condition of gas heater to determine if it needed a new heat exchanger.
