DIGRAVIO PLUMBING

Called 4 plumbers to have an electric hot water heater replaced. DiGravio was the only one who recommended the installation of a temperature mixing valve kit to give me extra hot water. The other plumbers didn't even know what it was. DiGravio's recommendation solved the cause of most fights in our house -- hot water. They were professional, knowledgeable, courteous and clean.

Dave and his crew replaced my second floor heat pump unit. It was originally installed in a small closed which made it a challenge. The work was done without any impact to the surrounding structure. I was very impressed with their skill.

Much of the problem with my experience is that I was out-of-town during the renovation. Despite my best effort at planning every detail down to where the drawer pulls would be installed, the incorrect backsplash tile was installed, apparently due to a manufacturer's error. I did not know it until the contractor sent me a photo of the work-in-progress. I discovered it was the wrong tile! He let me know he was not happy about having to take it down; however, it was not the tile I picked so I naturally I wanted the correct tile. The tile fiasco led to other problems, like the grout on the "correct" tile being done very sloppily and having to be re-done, the new toilet seat being scratched by workers' leaving tools on it, etc. Ultimately, after some other minor corrections, the bathroom turned out beautifully, and I might use DiGravio again, but I would never have any work done without being there every step of the way. I have to give credit to Mark Galdo, owner of Galdo Tile, who was responsible for the tile order and grout fiasco, for being extremely customer-service-oriented, acknowledging my unhappiness and committing to make it right, whatever it took. All business owners should take a page out of his book in Customer Service 101. Knowing how to communicate with your customers is key.

Called DiGravio after my no-show experience with Horizon. The DiGravio tech showed up on-time, was very professional and did the work expected. The price seemed a little high. Their one prior review is not reflective of what I experienced.

Plumber did satisfactory work on plumbing, but general contractor work was sub-standard. Plumber hired sub-contractor to replace floor tile and this job was very poorly done
